Tuition

to those that didn't know...

i "worked" as a teacher for two months...

Was kinda cool cause it didn't require A LOT of effort and energy and time and...
But of course the first tuition offer was way cooler as i'll get minimum 400 per month for teaching 5 days in a row for 2 hours each. Which makes it 5bucks per hour? :p NOOO, its 10 bucks per hour XDD

*slaps, stop dreaming, i got fired last minute for that job.Ish.

So, i message my cousin aka the principal of this tuition center, and she generously arranged a small duel class for me to teach maths in chinese and english.

"Giant teaching elf how to count, now i thought giants are dumb"

"phew wit, im gonna grow as tall as this guy one day"

"he's pretending to be serious, 90% of the time they're buggly bugs that keeps bugging you for less homework and more games =.="

its definitely not an easy job to persuade two young lil kids to do maths question every tuition. Will you if it was you? :P

So, this was one of the "tactics"-

I drew "name cards" for them to pin on their exercise file
(p.s. i made the files and punch hole for them too. Nice ho?? haha)

Tata, my pay :P I'll tell you how worth it it was. Firstly, the tuition center is at MJC which i think 9 out of 10 Kuching ppl will consider it far (its not). But than, transport was arranged for me without any charges. Besides that, the principal aka cousin will buy me drinks and lunch and sometimes dinner too. Add them all its already my pay so i was a lil reluctant to accept the salary which was quite "amazing". But of course, who won't accept money if they're given to you right? :P

I even receive an ang pao for "resigning" O.O and it was "too unexpectedly" FAT

Drawings i drew while they do their work and i stare at blank papers. Didn't have much time so don't expect too much.

The superior rights of being a teacher- conteng is absolutely permitted :P

I'm not familiar with the practice of sending off people though i do quite often do so but, I didn't see the necessity of it till its my turn.haha. So guys, I'm leaving for KL this coming Sunday on the above date and time so, do come if you have nothing to do ( though obviously its church service time, lol ) hope to see you there, sushiloverice readers XD It'll be so cool if some reader that I do not know personally came to send me off. Haha.

All i need now is a SE phone charger, a phone USB cable and some hugs and kisses

I went back and checked then went to find him again, this time MORE PISSED OFF. "HOW MANY DID YOU DRINK TODAY?" "um, TWO." *bro at the verge of crying* *slaps head* He doesn't know how to lie. :p

6. TOTALLY lost respect for may zhee. what she wrote about Lydia Sum, I thought it was very offensive. girl has no respect for the dead, shame shame.

7. Eating out too much. And i hate eating out. Why won't ppl invent portable kitchen? -_-

8. ZHANG LI YIN IS GOING TO RELEASE HER CHINESE ALBUM SOOOONNN!!! yes, finally someone new who can actually sing in the cpop industry. *will have a full post on her. cause i love her.*

My Attempt of a Joke

Today's Chap Goh Mer (dont like it said in hokkien) so normally families will cook an extra dish or upgrade their cooking material, you get what i mean :p guo jie as we say.

Dad made beef steak and it taste miraculous. So glad that it wasn't black pepper sauce like EVERYWHERE in town. It was what chef's call "chef's sauce".LOL

And so, we started dinner. Beef steak on a special day in our dimly lid kitchen, I felt something missing. So, i open my music folder from my phone and played classical music from Handel, Bach, Pachelbel etc. Doesn't it adds to the atmosphere? haha

Anyways that wasn't the case for my brothers. They started teasing me "kek classy la", "you think that's cool?" bla bla bla. I do forgive them for their barbaric language and the immatureness in aesthetic judgment.

SO, i picked my favourite piece and press "play". Straighten my posture and gave them the "i-am-rich" sorta arrogant look. Then, just as i slice my steak while the music's orchestra began to warm up the kictchen....

"Eh, want to go for the press run?" I randomly asked Sarah and Leatrice.

Haih, where to start. :p kinda stupid but fun. What started out as a joke turns real. -_- I just jokingly asked them whether they want to go for the press run. They gong gong say..WANT WANT. I gong gong said OKAY. Apparently, 3 of us, we're very suku, we never run in a marathon/run/jogathon. Since we're so 'bored' (actually we weren't bored at all, cause u see, Sunday, I have driving lessons + we do bio report + monday which is today we're sitting for a chemistry test).

Sunday morning, Sarah picked me up (at 6.20 AMMM), I'm still in a sleepy mode, actually 3 of us la. I secretly prayed that sunday would rain heavily so that I don't need to run. BUT SO CHUN CHUN THE SKY SO CLEAR AND NICE. -__- (The few days before it was so "ai mei", got rain no rain one..what the) Along the way, 3 of us kept complaining about how stupid we were to join this thing..%$$#%$#Q^$%^ along the way..(includes our bitchy laughs and all)

Then when we reach there, we saw Mr. Jacob and the staffs, smiling with glee at us. They didn't run le, they say they "support" us. Where got. They go to kopitiam and yam cha. There were like 2000 ppl there (Leatrice is really KUA ZHANG, she said 10,000. I know that's IMPOSSIBLE. Haha but her facial expressions when she said TEN THOUSAND was funny. XD) Mostly guys, there's kids too. The run for men = 15 km, women = 10km, kids=5 km, VIP walk=red carpet??

At the beginning of the run, 3 of us keep laughing like shit. (So that's why my abs hurt like crap now) Dunno why we laugh la, maybe cause we're so san ba lao, like never run before. We "ran" at first but then brisk walked. Seriously o, some ppl really go there to run. We obviously didn't , just went to have some "fun". Walked while talking and laughing, i swear some runners were like O_O at us. We even revised while walking, talk about multitask..heh. Got run also la. But that's cause we were kiasu.

THE SCOUTS(from St. Jo??) AND RED CRESENT ARE DAMN SEXIST ONE!! There were like booths for us to get water right? 3 OF US DIDN'T GET ANY LEH. Their reason = NO CUP! But after we walked past them, they gave a WHOLE BOTTLE to the guy behind us. WAT THE EFF. The ppl in front us got 100plus, the ppl behind us too. And we're so soi to not get any.. -__- Next time I will NEVER EVER donate to scouts or red cresent liao, pissed us off, BOOOO.. so mean one!! (sis' fav phrase)

Cause I was dying of thirst, I ran to McD to buy..McFlurry!!! HEHE, I love McFlurry.. :D Then tada we reached the finishing line. In like...less than 1 hr 45 min like that..(if it weren't for me buying McFlurry, I think we could have finished at 1 hr 30 mins + me fainting. :p) Ok la, not bad. Very fun.. XDD we even got a chance to join the lucky draw but we were too exhausted to even think about it.

And now the whole lower part of my body ACHES like mad. Even my abs..VERY VERY SUAN. my butt also. But that 10km cannot compare to the distance I've walked in Bangkok. Hm, I remember shopping for 9 hours a day. Yea, 9 HOURS. Good thing is, I know that I've actually worked these parts. XD YAY, next time I'll go again.. and I'll bring 100plus along with me..to pour them over the scouts' heads. :D I'm so mean sometimes.. XD

Ok, time for homework. *sigh*

Fakes

First kiss are treasurable. Don't everyone wants a movie sorta honey+sugar first kiss so that everytime you think about it, your mouth tends to stretch sideways by itself, indicating that it was REALLY sweet enough for the memory value.

I like nature, the breeze, the unique fragrance of earth, and the Painter that makes every sight the most marvelous painting man can only crave to draw...

Being in the farm is one of the most enjoying thing to do. If you don't know what's a relax state of mind and weightlessness from pressure, indulging amongst the green and listening to the orchestra of a blend of wind with leaves, stream flow and animals will teach you that undefined feeling...


Well i really want to have a career that has everything to do with nature and business. I've thought for a long long time with millions of ideas igniting on how to turn normal natural farms or land into business opportunities. It will cost me my whole life to finish these dreams but apparently parents would never consider it and would prefer me studying degrees in paperwork classrooms and working in air conditioned office.


Just plainly looking at this small part of the farm with flat land and some still growing plant, i can think of so many ways to change it into an attractive location for leisure and also business.

But its sad to know dreams don't always come true... Maybe one day, after i've have enough of the bustling city life, i'll come back and be the next Lim Goh Tong.


So for the time being, let's be more optimistic and crack stupid jokes. Hey! i see a cowboy by the valley---you see you see? XD

Add Spice To Your Nice

Have you felt the Chinese New Year atmosphere reigniting with all the familiar oriental decorations and firecracking new year songs which keeps repeating unbearably everywhere? Even hitz.fm plays it =.=

Yea i know its a jolly merry gong xi season which i can write a WHOLE list of things people do and love doing:- visiting, ang pau, firecrackers etc...

But do you have this feeling that, maybe, just maybe, all these static traditions and things are repeating itself year by year with no drastic changes that, somehow it may just burn out that excitement we used to linger towards it. You do notice that this "period" is highly repeated every year right?

A good example would be firecrackers and fireworks. Perhaps i may assume a lot of us use to be so forward looking towards "smuggling firecrackers" and of course, lighting them ourselves and seeing these fancy coloured creations blow up our inner delight. But as this practice goes on and on without revolutionize creativity, most of us move along and just lose that bit of enthusiasm towards these explosive.

Looks magical don't they, but haven't you seen enough of it?

Briefly, it is an ornamental pineapple that looks absolutely unique! and of course, nothing typical at all! XD It only meets its customer once a year which is during chinese new year.

By the chinese name of it, it can be translate directly into- "New Spring Pineapple Flower" or the" Flower of the New Spring Pineapple", or the "Spring's New Pineapple Flower", or the "Flower Pineapple of the New Spring" or the... :S ..the bold red "Wang" means prosperity too. So people tend to believe the more you buy "wang" stuff like the pink pineapple, the prosper you are, hehe.



So how bout some fresh thoughts for your Chinese New Year decoration? This pink baby will definitely enlighten new taste or even a new concept to your either CNY decorated living room or just anywhere else that you wish to decorate other than the never-changing typical New Year's red theme. PINK is the IN THEME XD haha
