The bad follows the Good

Last week, I had tons of fun shopping at HK and ShenZhen right (despite the crazy hot summer) *I will talk more about it later*..

I knew it, something bad will happen soon afterwards..

A TYPHOON.

Nola, it didn't even affect me so that does not count. :p

Anywais, I possibly got a heatstroke and I'm coughing my way outwards. My throat feels like there's knives in it. Plus flu. And I can smell a fever arriving any sec..

and to top all of that..

I didn't really do any exercise during my trip (except for the crazy long walking)..

So I..

DID 50 SQUATS AT A GO..

And now My thighs hurt like crazy and I walk like a penguin cause I can't even bend my knees.

I'm a handicap. T__T

And thennnnn...

Yesterday yesterday I didn't sleep at all. I was like a zombie, living dead. I suddenly had stomach pain. WTF?? Then last night when I wanted to study maths cause there's exam, I SLEPT THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT FOR MORE THAN 12 HOURS. nice.

It's horrible that I missed one week of class. But to miss another week?

Oh yea, there were clumps of blood in my cough, and yang said I had lung cancer. Crazy. Maybe I should go see the doctor.

Wae o Waeeeee... I hope I get well soon.

Malaysian Youth Music Festival 2008

onFinally, the choir journey in TAR college reaches its climax and ended.

On 23/8, the choir (who like all choirs i've been in, going through ups and downs, highs and lows) finally made it to the Malaysian Youth Music Festival 2008 in Marriot Putrajaya, 101 Resort Putrajaya.

10.00am- Dancing room
The dancing room we've practiced in. Though its always messy and cramped, at least there's a place for us to hang out, and polish vanity. (cause there's mirrors everywhere)

11.00am- The School Bus

Why???of all busess?

Choiry choired choirer choir people

Tarzan was camwhoring with my camera all through the journey but too bad, i don't see them around here :0

*The Choir*

12.00pm-Marriot Putrajaya

Never knew the venue would be so grant. pictures taken are just one part of the whole majestic palace. ok its a hotel.

All sorts of music competition was going on, strings, piano recitals, jazz, vocal. Choir was just one of the categories. Basically you can just bump into any rooms (with grumpy faces looking at you) and watch how great music can be.

1.00pm- Preparation

Teng Hui, the favoured potential-to-be president :)

Si Mei Foong, Si andrew and Si jonathan. Andrew's the Choir Manager hired from The Philippines XD

"cepat cepat"

Azhar our fashion designer, make-up artist, and hair stylist, check out our outfit, he's the man behind the masterpiece.

2.00pm- ShowTime

Ms. Ang, our teacher aka conductor, and the lovely Ms. Ler. Thanks for always being there for the choir.

The Respectable Tenors and Bass (not)

Na, Philipino, here's your photo :p

Smile

and the show begins

The first choir was a bit of a shocker because the title of the day was Malaysian YOUTH Music Festival and yea they really do look "young".I enjoyed them, bringing "Gan Lan Shu" as their first song and "Over The Top" (if not mistaken) as their second. Both harmoniously done. Great!

Then came TAR COLLEGE CHOIR, bringing you the famous local song "Rasa Sayang" and the enormous pieces of Andrew Llyod Webber--"Medley of Phantom of The Opera"

*drumrolls..

"Rasa Sayang he rasa sayang sayang heee"

" bong yang heeeeh, bong yang bong yang heeeeeeh"

We did not sang with that sad look for rasa sayang so don't get me wrong.

"Sing OOONnncee again with me..."

On my opinion, we did a fine job. The outfit was nice, ( credits to Azhar but we did it till 3 in the morning too). The singing was nice. The dynamics were not bad.

And the action was entertaining..

Aryton: "Now that was awsome!"
Jo : "Na not really"
(make up lines XD)

Picture. the guy below is Tarzan, the super cam whorer and super soprano. He can reach so much higher than the Sopranos yet he's singing Bass.

So, the results was,,,,,, we got 2nd! Suprise??? haha. I won't crack the secret so let's see whether Jo'll crack it. We were all expecting a 3rd but hey, Praise the Lord really :) 1st went to USCI which consist fully of Music Students. Cool huh?

Who's ma'man here?
Uncle Auntie, ur son grow up liao.

Testing with flash lighrs, satisfied.

Jia Ern our dedicated president with attitude. And Mr. Azahar who loves Nasi Goreng Cendawan XD

Ah Ming from USCI, the only guy that we got to talk to

Teck Hao + Jie Ern = Happy

Chui yee, posting for a shot.
I need to improve on composing pictures.

Among the very very few picture of the WHOLE TRIP that i'm in. People were just busying asking me to take pictures till they forgot bout me. But its ok. haha.

Meanwhile, while everyone is busy taming vanity, i went around to explore.

The water droplet again, seems familiar? haha

Eason Chan in

my school ! ^.^

I thought it was some April Fool's joke when i saw flyers bout him coming but wait, its August. O well

I had the privilege of V.I.P sitting for buying his limited edition comical album. My first ever original album!

The main purpose of him coming on paper was to give a career talk for students. But obviously its to promote popularity.

Anyway, he spent most of the time talking and as a fan, i think we enjoy it as much as him singing. That's when people get to know celebrities more deeper than just the surface right?

I learned that he was reading Architecture Studies as well! XD in London, but later found out that it doesn't suit him despite his liking towards art. He didn't regret studying it though because every part of learning helps you somehow in later times.

So, he came back to Hong Kong on a summer holiday and tried on a talent competition, just for fun. And tata,
Thank you for joining Eason, if not we won't be able to have such a brilliant entertainer both in acting and singing, as well as a person!

I thought Eason started his career with acting and then tried on singing like everyone else (I'm waiting for Daniel Radcliff to sing =.=) But hey,,, he really can sing! Very well indeed.

During the event, he actually re-sang the song that he forgot the lyrics without music, and it sounded brilliant! in the face Farenheit! in the face lollipop!

Fans get 1st hand experience with him when the Q&A session came in. Some asked crappy questions though. The sadest thing was, the accent of our fellow Malaysians hidden in their chinese and english. Gosh... Malu betul when they buka their mulut talking like that. The MC actually had to translate chinese into more presentable chinese to him =.=

the 3 students that went up to gave their story based on Eason's first English track (Aren't You Glad) I should have just raise my hand even if i don't have a story in mind then. Isshhh. haha :D

I enjoyed the whole process though he came in late for 2 hours. Eason must be one of the nicest celebrity i've ever seen. He's down-to-earth (when he kept cracking his awkwardly funny laughs), he's humble ( the gesture when he shoke hands with our school official knowing its hard for celebrities to come in TARC shocked me, humble betul...), and he's sincerity ( he shoked hands with every fans that went up for autographs and look straight into the eye of every autograph seeker)

Yahuuuuuu!!! Beli yang Oriiiii!!!!

:)
