I was at Damai Puri with my friends having breakfast when yee wei told me Michael Jackson passed away. (Damai puri don't have wireless..don't go thr..waste of money :p )

I thought it was some cruel joke..and I was like.. "HAHAHAHA..so funny..-_-"

When he told me.."It's true I'm not joking." I was soooo shocked! No joke.

One of my wishes in my life is to attend a Michael Jackson, Britney and Madonna concert. I grew up listening to Michael Jackson's music (seriously..even though his Thriller days were eons ago) and I remember how frightened I was watching Thriller but I kept watching it over and over again. Heck, I even know the dance to Thriller. T_T And who can forget Beat it, Billie Jean and Smooth Criminal??!

Me, "...O_O!!! YOU DIDN'T TELL ME AND NOW YOU WANT BUY ONE....are u going to hand me over yours and u get a new one or am i gonna get a new one?"
Dad, "Aiya, it's for you la okay."
Me, "WHY??"
Mom interrupts , "Your daddy la. He don't want to lend his laptop to ur bro so he's buying you one so that you would lend ur bro urs..and U BETTER DO IT."
Me, "err...okay. But u didn't give me time to think. skhfkesfuse!@@#"
Dad, "okay la. I choose for you, buy the HP DV2. Black, thin, gorgeous, light."
Me, "I want white....-_-"
Dad, "No white colour. Black it is."
Me, "fine. :D "

Actually the convo was like much longer but u get the gist of it. And my lil bratty bro was like..u know..u got this laptop cause of me so u should say thank you to me. -___- lil brothers...


So after like...almost a month after using..

I can say that I REALLY HATE THE TOUCHPAD. HATE. Want to burn it. It pisses me off so bad.

And Vista isn't helping either. I really want to change to XP. Gosh, Vista is the worst thing that Microsoft came up with.

Other than that, it's nice to use. (yun, STOP changing the wallpaper.) It's the size of a book and it's pretty light. It's very pretty and since i'm very OCD about smudges and fingerprints, i'm forever always wiping it.

Oh yea, it's 12 inch wide and has an external drive which is why it's so light. :) If you want to know more about it, google then. I'm not a computer geek.

Exhausted.

Really...exhausted.

I don't know why..how is it possible that I feel 10x tired after exams. Maybe it's cause i've been going out too much. Haha, but I feel happy. :D

I'm sleep deprived period.

I haven't been sleeping much and the stress that i had during my exam period totally made me stop eating for a moment there and now I really feel the exhausion.

Hm, so today I went out with yee wei and mag for grocery shopping. Went to mag's house at like 9.30. And then all of a sudden it was 1. MADNESS i tell u. I didn't even realize the time went by that fast. And we watched Monster vs Aliens. Funny..haha..Reese Witherspoon's voice is awesome, love her.

Then we went to Boulevard just for grocery shopping. But then we went to the food court,ate,drank,talk and then we headed to Guardian. Talked some more. We love to talk..bopien. Went to popular (i don't know why) and then we start talking about the suan ming stuffs..funneh.. Then we talked our way to the hypermarket. TALKED AND LAUGHED EVEN MORE. Haih, i've getting even more talkative by the day.

And then SUDDENLY it was 3. WTF.

Ok, um, i'm bad at giving accounts of my day. Haha..but i love grocery shopping. You can put me in a hypermarket for hours and I won't complain. Hm..i like to shop with my sis. Reason being that we are like..polar opposites..yet we are so alike. Get it?? Haha. It's like this,

Sis, "Yien, OMG THIS IS VERY NICE I WANT TO BUY LO"
Me, " *smiles..excited to see what it is* *see the price* WHAT?! U CRAZY IS IT U THINK U'RE SO RICH HA?"
Sis, "*pout* Fine, get the smaller one. I don't want other brand, i only want this OKAI?"
Me, "Good. *start nagging about how i'm going to live with her next yr if she spends money like this*"
Sis, " *rolls eyes*."

****moments later****

Sis & me, "OMG THAT TOP IS GORGEOUS."
Sis , "Too bad Kuching ppl don't appreciate, they only like frilly weird ah lien stuff."
Me, "Yea yea. It's like that la, cannot expect anything less ok."


Funny how years years ago we fought EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Pulling hair, slapping each other, biting (crazy yun), beating...anything. Haha, now we pretty much understand each other very well. And we bitch at night and laugh like crazy.



Mm..okay. End blogpost here. Want to sleep. If u haven't noticed, I blogged this for the sake of blogging. Explains why it sounds so bimbotic and has no substance.

Oh yea, Perez Hilton accusing will.i.am of assulting him. HIGH-LA-RIOUS. All I can say is..PEREZ..U SURE HAD IT COMING.

A father's Love

It is just natural for everyone to be inclined and expressive to mothers'. Mother nature maybe designed this way as lion cubs, baby dolphines and little calfs are raised with the intimate doze of relationship with the female parent. Despite the majority, we see certain amount of animals having parental care from both parents as well; like penguins take turns in guarding their eggs and taking care of baby penguins; and some male frogs though cold blooded, brings its younglings on its back.

However no matter what nature's lesson is, humans are always the exceptions. We are given the gifts of body soul and spirit so that we may relate and express ourselves better than the rest of the species. I'm glad that i'm not cat as all i can express of is giving each other licks on the fur, nor would i be happy if i'm a giraffe where mum and dad is just so way up above =.=

My point is, a father may not be the one you would wanna run to when you broke up with ur girlfriend, or when you're having a high fever; but nontheless, he is the one you would wanna run to when someone bullys you at school, or to be the first to be reported with when you have good grades, or to hear your complains of school, or the highs and lows of your basketball match, and to feel sorry to when you did something wrong.

All i wanna say is, thank you dad, for being there physically and mentally all this while. I know we're not use to mushy stuff like "i love you" or some sort, but i just wanna let you know that, through the years of growing up, i've really learnt what love means, and i love you dearly. Take care dad, and you have my word that i will never let you down, in contrast, i will make you proud like how i was proud of you all this while.

Oh ya, during my "study break" I dlded Mean Girls (because it's been a long time since i've watched it and it's like my fav chick flick ever and i don't even like chick flicks at all so this says a lot) and I DIDN'T REALIZE THAT RACHEL MCADAMS PLAYED REGINA. I was like O___O but rachel looks good blonde..and hot. But she looked so different in the Notebook. I watched it 3 times. Crazy but i love it. and then i dl Legally Blonde (not blondes..legally blondes is some cheap movie with 12 yr old twins who have not hit puberty..and it's not porn) because it's my 2nd fav chick flick. BUT then Reese witherspoon start speaking in some kind of language (french?) and then it hit me like a yellow bus that the entire movie was dubbed in French. -_______-

Speaking of French, my dad dled this really cute adorable french movie call Amelie Poulain sth. And he was laughing and smiling throughout the movie so i was really curious because my dad rarely laughs while watching movies (except for those old old 50's /60's/ 70's sitcoms). So I watched it...and it's really good. Hilarious, cute and adorable. And I've always thought the leading lady looked familiar so I googled the movie and it didn't surprise me that the movie won many many awards and has a good ol' 90% ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. It was Audrey Tautou btw so I was like OHHHH~~ i know that name. And now, this has got me interested in French movies..hmm..

Anyways, goodbye A levels Hello university. :)

Filled with full anticipation of capturing the excitement and unexpected things that were going to happen for the then, up coming weekend, excitedly i charged my double A's and cleared the 4GB memory card to prepare myself, which i normally do not do =p With 3 odd size bags wrapping all over me, i boarded the public transport like an immature korean backpacker and cruise through train stations and rushing streets to reach the gather point =)

After some time, i saw similar "tourists" with better luggage management that looked equally lost yet enthusiastic about their lost status. Mingled around and found out everyone there was about the same age, 17 to 24 max. Suddenly, someone pass us a large brown paper bag and said, ,"thrust all your valuables inside, you won't be having it for the weekend. Handphones, camera, watches all in ok?" With amazement, i blackout for a few seconds. OK, so i just brought the bulky camera with fully charge batteries and an empty memory card waiting to be filled when IT is going to spend its weekend in a brown paper bag instead of being used. Nicee.... XD

But of course it was understandable that I won't have time for photos, with all that was going on, it would be great to subsitute the seconds i have for pressing the camera shuttle with resting my legs and eyes like this -_- ( ok can't include legs in emoticons. haha.) Plus the camp wasn't suppose to be exposed so besides group pictures, i don't think anyone has anything more.

Nontheless, it was still a wonderful camp, to spice things up, for your information, Prince Williams took a gap year and went for an expedition under Raleigh as well. Hm, did that spice things up? :/ haha.

We were group in 3 teams, named after the alphabets A,B,C= Alpha, beta.. eh eh, Bravo, and Charlie. And that cute charming beautiful team in the photo is Team Charlie! =)

I'm so loved

by love bugs that bit me all over, and now it itches like mad. ( i have to scratch a few times while finishing that sentence, and this one as well =.=)

The camp by Raleigh was really a once in a life time experience! And the best part is, i'm not suppose to tell anyone that yet to participate about anything! Which means me being me, going to the camp few days ago knowing nothing about it, is actually what it was suppose to be =D

Raleigh is an International non-profit organization that lays a platform for youths to develop themselves while being introduce to expeditions to inlands and overseas.

A video was shown which features photos of wonderful dawn and dusk, followed by pictures of the twist and touch of life in the wild, and the experience of being in a society where your status quo has nothing in common, anyone with an inner thrist for adventure and something out of typical-ness would jump off their seat anytime to shout "yes i want that!"

The best line which captured me was when the subtitiled reveal

" What is 10 weeks, in a life's time?"

Going for an expedition under Raleigh brings you the opportunity to work with other ventures from all over the world for 10 weeks into the inlands to either build an infrastruture or hike around the jungles for that amount of period. Everything done during the weekend was to introduce us to the life of expeditions.

I personally overlook the benefits that the camp could bring because camps are just camps. However this one in particular change the whole idea of camp. Never have i really knew that a 3 days camp, can made someone learn that much and grew in that amount.

I would really wanna share more but if i did, anyone that read this and actually went would be regretting of knowing anything before that :P

There would be another Introduction Weekend in October and i would recommend everyone to join! XD

When there's just so many tasks to fullfilled and commitment to live up with....

I'm going camping this weekend =)


For a better idea of how my schedule works= i'll have to forfeit the trip to Malacca this Saturday with the Sabah Sarawak Student Society AND ALSO miss out the one and only "Talentime Night Gathering".


But well, i think the Raleigh Camp sounds more convincing with the excitement of hiking and building tents in the midnight or eating camp fire food and night walks!

I made this video out of pure kek-kiang ( act smart ) because i wasn't happy with showing power point slides when going into lecture halls to promote SWC (Student Welfare Committee). In the end i end up finishing it at 4 in the morning with panda eyes, and woke up in the morning at 8 to get ready.



Well Student Welfare Committee sounds like a welfare body which in fact it is. It is one of the most influential committees in school with highly structured organization. However, the student body has been deviated from its purpose for years. Lost in other words. Even the video i made was like a cult or a misleading video from the purpose of SWC's existence.

However after much discussion, we hope to change the lost welfare body into a whole new organization that really serves up to its name, literally :)
