This phrase was infamous among friends in Kuching. Originated from Andrew Lee who console himself due to mistakes in Mahjong, i later discover how meaningful this phrase can be depending on the intepretor.
From the first impression, it may sound cocky.I like this phrase because it is so ironically clashy with our today society. Just think about it, how many of the rich dare to claim their wealth proudly and not intimidatedly deny the richness that they are blessed with? (example yien XD) Why do some people keep saying "no la! i'm not rich at all!" or "i'm so poooorrrrR" when realisticaly they are cursing themselves. "Wa wu lui BAAA!!!" Say it out in joy! XD
Besides, this lovely phrase can acts as a consolating line to help you recover from emotional sadness due to lost in materialistic things. no? What if some guy's business suddenly broke down? Maybe Sean Kingston will appear in his mind ~Suicidaaal, suicidaaal~ . But then, if you tell yourself, "wa wu lui ba!!", not worrying bout how realistically deprived you are. See! it works right? :D
As for me! If you've been keeping up, I've been flying to KL for the 3rd time in lets see, less than 30 days? :P so all the farewell and stuff, sorry. But yet again, people all over will be "suan"-ing me. I forgive you sincere yet innocent beings for your ignorance of what really's happening. And I'm tired of repeating the same explanation to every single one. SO!!! when they ask me why i come back again and again, i'll just throw the line---> "WA WU LUI BA!!!!!" XD
