Trashion Photoshoot

There was a recycling campaign going on recently, although i doubt their objectives because it was a final year assignment for them, but the campaign was truly amazing. Anyway, you can google "tarc recycle" if you wanna know how great it was but here, i just wanna talk about the "Trashion" that Azhar and Chin Yee took part in conjunction to the Recycling campaign.

Trashion simply means- trash+fashion. By using unwanted clothes or in a more vague way, trash, you can make them into fashionable clothing or dresses. Google it to and you'll be amazed at how creative people can be.

Being a friend of them, i helped out in taking photos for the trashion-contest. We went around hostel to find suitable settings and yes, check out the pictures and see what you think, bout hostel, the dress and my photographing XD

The "model" for the day was, Abygail. With the assets that she possessed, it was certain that she could brought trash into fashion :D

The designers did not really told me what theme their dress was so everything went freestyle. Emo? Gothic? 70's?

Anyway, i enjoyed the whole shooting. From carrying props to adjusting the model posture and finding better angles. It really felt like those photographer you see on tv giving soft orders of bending more or, face to the left or, more attitude. Sounds cool to me. Who knows what this accountant will do in the future, accounting photography? haha.
