From

...Sydney..

...with love!

Am currently in Sydney, staying in one of its many backpackers' hostel. Its a privilege to have met a lot of individual backpackers here. Most of them are travelling alone and are going to more than a country. From what i've known, travellers usually take a whole year out (a gap year) and do things out of their normal routine for sometime before getting back to it.

In life, everyone has their own calling, to do certain things in our life. We have responsibilities to take care of, errands to run, task to fulfill. But despite going full speed on life, i do believe getting out of our status quo sometimes, be it backpacking, bible school, boot camp or just doing something different, would really bring forth good opportunities and time for us to look at our life, ourself and our environment, from outside of it. We get to be out of our routine doing things we're doing, and really reflect on what we've done, and what lies ahead. It is like getting off a cho-cho train track and review as a whole on what's going on.

For better or for good, it is better to think about it than otherwise. If we know we're doing something right, then continue to do it with passion. If we find that there's something wrong with the train track, or the train window, well its a good thing cause we actually realize that something needs fixing. If we find that the train stations needs a large scale renovation, by this i mean the society we live in, yea it is both our responsibility and privilege to make a good change out of the knowledge of knowing better.

I've yet to find the words to write, of the many thoughts that i've been pondering or the thoughts that just came out spontaneously throughout the days. For some reason i don't even know how to describe it yet. Somehow, i just think the word "learned" isn't appropriate, neither is the word "exposed".

But nonetheless, I am pretty sure that if it wasn't for this trip, i would just be indulging in college life and life itself going by a day at a time. So therefore. I am truly grateful to have times like this to not just travel and see places, but to think, reflect, be open to corrections, and to find reasons for striving higher excellence.

I hope we will not continue to live in our own bubble if we are. Well how do we find out whether a bubble we are living in? Hmm...probably its time to ponder :) Take care everyone!

Will be going back to Melbourne on Monday by a 12 hour bus ride and would be flying back to Kuala Lumpur on Sunday afternoon. See you :)
