Asia Ablaze

Photobucket

It wasn't just a time of praising and worshiping in the immediate presence of God

Photobucket

Nor was it just a time of knowing and fellowshipping with Christians all around.

I dare say, its not even all about Dr. Rodney Howard Brown, the great evangelist who came all the way from Florida.

neither was it just about being prayed for or the great experiences.

For too long, we told ourselves Christianity is not a religion; it is a relationship. We know it by hard and we preached it proudly out loud. We go to church in the name of "a relationship" and we do that week by week, year by year. If there is one thing that this conference should impact us in, it is our religiosity.

If it really was a relationship as it should, the church would not have been competitive or stagnant. Revival would have came and the society would have been impacted with the gospel. I realized everyone has the tendency to be complacent and most of us do fall into that trap of the enemy.

Despite being redeemed from the world and put into the glorious Kingdom of God, seated with Christ in identity in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 2:6), we still long for the world. Our hearts are caught up with the world, our dreams, our plans, our preference, that it causes us to be oblivious of the real precious and glorious things.

What are you living for?
There is a famous saying which goes like this, "If you don't have something worth dying for, you have nothing worth living for". I heard an additional saying to that famous quote, "you are merely existing". It couldn't be more true. The world teaches us to just exist, go along with what others are doing, and do it more as long as it feels good, until you grow old and then, die. Is there a purpose? Isn't that just "existing"? It is like we have to go through the motions of life because too bad, we're born into the world, i mean what else can we do but do what everyone is doing?

There's more than this. It is really the time that the children of God should rise up to who they are called to be. They were never merely religious followers or practitioners of a certain way of living (which there are millions of suggested alternatives in the world) We are sons and daughters of the Most High (Psalms 82:6), saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8), adopted into the blessed family (Galations 4:5). We were forgiven of all our sins and redeemed from the dominion of darkness into the Kingdom of light (Colossians 1:13). Angels are guarding us (Luke 4:11) We hold the keys of the kingdom of heaven to bind and loose (Mathew 16:19) and we have the anointing from the Holy one (1 John 2:20).

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor; He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed,to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."
-Luke 4:19

Being a Christian is not the best thing that could happen to you, it is the very purpose that you were created for! You were wonderfully and fearfully made (Psalms 139:14) in the likeness of God. Did you get that? You were made in the very image of the God who created everything! Should we then be of likeness to God, of His beloved children, working for His "Global Enterprise" business, enlarging it and pinning down "competitors". We are called to shine! and be the light and salt to the world. And the best part is, it was never dependent on how good we are, but how graceful and awesome He is!

Come on! Comrades of all tribe and tongue, let us stand firm in the faith, be strong and courageous (1 Corinthians 16:13). Let us turn away from our wicked ways, repent (change the way of thinking) of our mindsets about Christianity, and start to live this great and awesome life filled with the fellowship of the Holy Spirit which gives power to us to perform miracles, signs and wonders, that we could be witness of the resurrection of Christ (produce evidence through wonders) and the world may see and believe, this LIVING God that lives within us.

"I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire"

-Mathew 3:11

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus I pray that you will touch anyone that reads this, that they would have a deep revelation from the Holy Spirit about what you want to accomplish in and through their lives. I pray that right now as they read, You will even tell them details of their call, through visions and prophecies and dreams and words. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit burn and cleansed any worldly desires that has blocked the flow of Your work in them, and may that same fire flame up a great passion to see the world as how You see it. In Jesus Mighty name I pray.
Amen

Asia Ablaze! Let the flames begin!
