Although i'm still an active little bouncing atom

Breezy Morning- Am suppose to be at school for choir warm up at 9 but due to the recent norm of never being in time, i reached at 9.40. We were slot into the program list of this semester's Contemporary Dance Competition just yesterday so the last minute decision did not register that deep. Anyhow, its a grateful opportunity to get ashamed and embarrassed in front of a sweating hyped up crowd so that we get the exposure of not being shy.

Well of course it wasn't suppose to be embarrassing but singing together for the first shot would normally end up imperfect. Which gives a reason to practice :)

Speaking of Contemporary Dance, think i've never mention about me joining it last year and doing quite well with the team :D

Always wanted to blog about it but did not have the mood to brag i guess. haha. We got second last year and i was even "wrongfully" chosen for best dancer nominee. What were the judges thinking?? haha.

But still, it was a great great experience of choreographing your own dance move, improving not just yourself but every person in the team from wood to silky smooth moving dancers. Bravo bravo :)

Practicing late at night with beauties of our team. And o yea, we were called "Laissez Faire"

sounds familiar? :P

me, pei pei, kim and Wei Jian the buff ><
And so, because i joined last year, i get the chance to perform again this year for the junior's competition. I forgot when did the idea of it came out but i knew instantly that i had to grab it. I know i'm incomparable to any dancing dudes that go down the floor with handstands and windmeel that sort but hey, i just love to dance :)

Practices went well, along with Wei Jian the buff, Crystal his stunning partner and Kah Hwee my partner who is half my height. (ok maybe a little been more than that) We tried all sort of stunts imaginable and yea, carrying girls ain't easy but its real fun XD from an innocent point of view mind you.

I guess its really true how performers have to sweat all their heart out during practices for just that few minutes in front of the crowd. Our dance performance passed just like any usual practice routine and its just.. passed! OMG. But we shouldn't really sighed on how short the performance lasted. Process matters than the end result really rings i suppose :)

After performing both in dance and singing (cheh!) i headed to church for worship practice. Did you know that singing praise and worship songs no longer stays as just singing when you become a Chrisitian? You have the ability to soul out the lyrics and get connected with God through singing/worshiping. Songs no longer stays as songs but a true love offer to God. and having God as your audience, you gotta know He really adores you're singing :)

I guess i have to always renew my prespective towards serving in church as i'm easily drag down to the thought of performing instead of ministering. Minister means service, which means i'm servicing in church for the congregation, leading people into the intimade encounter of worshiping God. I'm glad that the church constantly reminds us on the correct attitude towards serving in the worship team. Gosh i've learnt a lot.

Am hoping to get a copy of the dance video and post it up here, if you have the slightest interest of seing a lamp post moving around in tempo that is XD Tomorrow will be another full day with 2 church services and choir but, it will definitely not be "just another Sunday", but another wonderful Sunday with high expectations and blessings.

Love ya Jesus :)

Cola Sharing

He knows the amount of sugar there is in a can;

She knows how sweetening a can would be.

He never really liked coke,

Neither does she.

He felt like having one,

She doesn't mind the sugary aftertaste.

They headed across the dining area to the cola fridge.

"Hey, a can is too sweet, why don't we share?"

i just find it, sweet :)

One for Malaysian films

Though i never really knew her, but Yasmin Ahmad has always been a famous film maker in our country. I bet even if you didn't know who she is, you have most likely come across her films and advertisement. The local cinema hit Rabun, Sepet, Petronas advertisements, Talentime are a few of her movies that has made it big both local and international. Besides so, she is also judges for many international film festivals across the globe.

Yasmin, before her decease, remained a blog which features her artistic point of view, her life passing events and how concern she is towards Malaysia issues. I believe her movies and writings has influence a lot of people. You may visit it at yasminthefilmmaker.blogspot.com

I've never really liked Malaysian dramas but for the record, all the Malaysian films that i've watched are really nice. No matter the language, we know that Malaysian movies are making it hard to the market as budget are always pressuring and the support from cinemas and movie-goers are not bright.

However, it is only through these movies that we can find the familiarity and the sense of belonging to, and i believe for most Malaysian movie lovers, Yasmin Ahmad plays a big part in cringing our very own Malaysian films from the flooding of American movies.

On behalf of everyone else, i just wanna say Thank You for igniting hope and making it all out for Malaysia. Thank You for the heart-warming short advertisements that although last for not more than a few seconds, brought laughter and warmth towards the audience. Thank You for the movies that featured cross-cultural stories that made Malaysian look once more against racism. Thank You for making Malaysia proud over your success and influence in the film industry as a whole.

May you rest in peace.

He took the bread, broke it and gave thanks

People see money as the essential of being,
Of which someone here is seriously lacking.
If it really was the essence to a human being,
then "someone" would most probably be half-dying :p

There's too much to care about besides my bank balance,
Exams, church, events and also assignments,
"Don't worry of what you shall eat" says Jesus,
thanks to Him i find plain bread delicious :D

Yep! my favorite dish for the moment is bread,
Plain white along with some chocolate spread,
Breakfast, lunch and also dinner,
Sometimes tea and sometimes supper :)

In debt i really am in terms of borrowing,
So much so that i owe the burger uncle syilings.
He says pay tomorrow for the two,
sorry uncle, but i just wanna say thank you :)

Don't worry about my current situation,
and don't offer me biscuits for any reason,
For i believe in food multiplication,
And also some any party invitation. XD

Thank You Jesus for everything,
for i do not believe in what i see but what i believe in,
Trusting i am with my titles and offerings,
for abundance in food, chocolate and every other blessing :)

Manchester United Malaysian

Yea as the papers says, Manchester United came to Malaysia (and still is in) for their Asian tour.
And yea, i did get to go =p

Because of early tickets from Daniel, who got it from Michelle, we get to have Training Passes on Friday to watch the all -England Giant train in Stadium Bukit Jalil. Happily we thought it was so exclusive that maybe only a few hundred lucky winners get to possessed training pass only. Well, were so wrong as it was jamming madly on Friday. EVERYONE's going all the way to the Stadium with their jerseys on just to see the players run around the field. And since no one's really playing soccer, their warming up and warming down session became the crowds' best entertainment. "O MY GAWD FERDINAND'S STRETCHING!!!!" =.=''

On Saturday! After worship practice, we hop on Daniel's Unser and rush to Bukit Jalil in compliments of other Man U fans that contributed to the heavy road jam.

When we got in the Stadium, the players were coming out already. Woo!!!

But what caught me more was, the massive massive amount of human beings in that venue. Never been to a stadium before so i've never expected this (besides on tv). Look at that, every single tiny dot is a person that can shout and scream and make noise!!!

The wave of cheers can be literally felt as the anticipation level was boiling. The red sea of jerseys just adds nicely into the whole atmosphere.

Eh! Sarawak! ( an the flag's hung upside down my friend =.= )

After getting stunned by the unrecognizable individuals that flooded all our seats (ish), i looked down and saw non other than*takes deep breathe, the people that made Malaysians let aside their money, time and even honor of betraying their own country.

!!!Manchester United!!!

We had to seat at higher seats as the seats we paid for are all filled up. Somehow the whole stadium thingy reminds me of Harry Potter and their Quiditch Tournament. No? :P

Well in case you didn't notice, i've just taken a photo that would earn me RM50 on Star Newspaper :D

The match kicked off! Malaysia was obviously a standard lower as compared to the English man of smooth passes and crosses. I think no one actually had hope on Malaysia as of history told us the last game they played ended up 6 vs 0. The worst thing was, Malaysia was playing HOME and the home crowd is screaming loud for the visiting team =.= Malaysia Boleh...

After few minutes of kick off, Rooney scored an easy goal in front of the goal post. Wasn't really exciting but the stadium was roaring. It was so easy that i think everyone was expecting the next one in minutes.

Yeap without much waiting, the second goal from Man U proceeded. Woooo!!! again the stadium was shaken with cheers of the Man U fans.
2 vs 0 so far.

But but, right before half time, a Malaysian player Amri Yahya (if not mistaken) went through the defences and just gently tilt the ball... i wasn't expecting it to go in, so was people around me, and so was Van Der Sar. And it went in.

GOAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I jumped on my feet and started screaming along with 99,999 human beings around. Malaysia scored !!! WOOo!!!! i bet all Malaysians in the stadium had their time of their life, to cheer for their own country, in football, against Manchester United.=.= WOoo!

2 vs 1

With so much joy, the halftime whistle was blown. Daniel and i went to get some food and drinks, just for the sake of getting stadium food which i only see in tele on american football movies "hotdogs hotdogs"

Apparently Malaysia not only do not have such service, people had to squeeze around the fences to buy stuff from the seller outside of the stadium hall. We were like prisoners hungry for food and water struggling our hands and waving in desperation for the abang and kakak out there to mercifully pass us their stuff. Ok, lets move on =D

Before we could get our food, the stadium was suddenly filled with the sound waves of human shouts. AAAA, we ran up the stairs while joining our vocal chords with the majority in desperation to see what happen. Manchester scored most probably. But when we reached the deck, we saw the blue people crowding together. OMG!! Malaysia scored once more!!!! can u believe it?? we are tied against one of the world's best team!

2 vs 2

After settling down, i realised Malaysia was really playing quality football. Their passes are more accurate and their confidence were real up! Come On Malaysia! If they can pull it through, its gonna be real good news for Malaysia football man. I never really watched Malaysia played before and as everyone says, our national football is hopeless. But from the way i see it, they're pretty good yo! :D scoring 2 against Man U, come on, buy that! And MU was playing serious as well for your info~

During the middle of the second half, a Malaysian player fell and the medics were treating him. ( its so sad that i don't know anyone from the Malaysian squad) All of a sudden the crowd was getting real loud, i thought they were cheering for the injured fellow Malaysian, but for and behold, they were shouting for this guy...

Michael Owen which transfered to MU made his debut with jersey number 7. And of all people, he became the spoiler which scored the winning goal for MU. But honestly, it was 0.00001mm for the defender to prevent the ball from scoring. so closeee..... but anyway thats just football, doesn't matter how u score as long as the freaking ball as the line and into the net =.=

3 vs 2

Well it was more than expectations already. I really was expecting another 6 or 7 goals from MU but it was so tied up. Wow...definitely worth the money man. Not to watch Manchester United players and in their new jersey, but to find hope and gratitute for our very own Malaysian football team!!! :):):):)

Below are some random photos from the match. We were seating 5 rows from the highest seat, but the photos taken were way visible than dslr.

I'm starting to love my camera once more :) sorry cammy, for ditching you all this while. haha.

the old chap, Giggs

Only the red team get to go up and shake some Dato's hand and pocket some medals while the national team left silently. Whats is wrong wei....

Um, why is she there? Security!!

Group pic! man this photo is so good! but it would have been the best picture, if only the camera person is in it :(
haha, its ok la, im use to it :)

Goodbye Manchester United,

thanks for bringing Malaysians together,
and show them what Malaysian football is really about.
Thanks for giving me the chance,
to cheer for my country's ex-hopeless sport.
and thanks for making me look forward to,
that one day when Malaysia will beat Man U :D

a saturday poem

It may be an adrenaline competition out there,
but to be in a room of serenity and peace,
where no worries are needed to be cast on anything,
and when all you have to do is, lay down.

To wake up in the morning without the urgency of an alarm,
Knowing there's nothing to feel guilty for,
closing my eyes and rest my awaken mind once more,
ah what a feeling :)

The tree leaves waving outside my window,
rustles gently,
with no rush at all for their nature of growing,
why can't everything be as peaceful as this :)

I drag a slot of piano pieces into the media player,
from that second onwards,
the room lost its rigidity and everything seems so light and happy,
A smile ran out of my lips :)

Its a nice feeling isn't it?
to see things in slow motion, as if everything slows down by a second or two,
don't be mislead by the slow motion of action movies,
but be mesmerized by the wonderful art of stagnant.

Let the musical notes wraps my heart,
and nature's dancing be my guide,
to appreciate everything there is in a second,
and of what a beautiful Saturday can actually mean :)

We are the Stage Directors

Its been a week since Talentime Night ended, the event of the year i shall labelled it :) But due to the hecticness that is still going around school, work and play, i don't have the time to write a full post on it.. YET.

However, it was really a blessed night. And again the stage wowed even me myself just as it did the last time during sbs night. My prayers were the same for both events, that the stage is gonna look so obvious that it was by God. And indeed, it was by God's own hand that the stage became such a huge sucess. I'm not boasting of myself here, i am boasting of my God! Good feedbacks kept swimming in from the judges, the principal, the school officials and of course the students. As for the Student Affairs Officer, he said it was the best since 2001.

2001!!!
I was still in primary 5 when that stage was built!

Praise You All Mighty! :)

Due to the straint and long hours of TT, my studies needs quite a lot of catching up. Second year says everyone, that it is sooo tough and hard and you gotta play serious or you'll perish bla bla bla. Well of course i haven't been through second year to tell others whether it is hell or heaven, but so far... It's always heaven when you know Who's looking after you :) Come on people!

For those that have been curious, stop asking me my formula of balancing between studies and work, its an open secret to all, that Jesus loves me sooooo much and He loves you too :) call me and i'll tell you everything :)

The weeks to come are gonna be even more unbelievable, (every week seems unbelievable XD) uncountable assignments and exam which i never knew was gonna happen in such a massive scale. But yea, everything's gonna be alright! :D Why is it so coincidal that all these academic stuff did not clash with TT? i wonder :)

All the best to you all, Life's good, with GD XD
