Living Everyday Like Its Saturday

Woke up abruptly at 5.30.. Wasn't sure why, tried climbing back to dreamland but its not happening so i got out of bed and went to my baby sitter's house. (its just across the road) The sky was still dark. Couldn't remember the last time i repeat this routine of waking up before dawn. Schoolers were packing up for school while i had nothing to rush apart from reading the papers. "oh, mahathir's on front page". Like i care. " Real Madrid lost!" damn. Finish the whole stack when its just 6.30. Hm, it would have been boring to kill time by rolling back to bed or just continue reading the Harry-Potter-sized book so i decided to walk to the market and have a "saturday" for myself.

Saturday for me WAS a casual routine-less day. It could be as spontaneous as possible from going "marketing" to basketball competition or extra class but all in all it would just gush me with this sense of pressure less feeling. So as a start, I dressed myself. If 5 would be the full-attire of dressing the best, 2.5 would be the dress-up rate for going to the market. Yea it might not sound necessary but actually from what i see, almost everyone gives a 2.5 dress up just to go buy fishy-fishes or picking fruits. hm?

Walking alone was too much to be a habit already. I've got to say that i do have a faster walking pace than others. Just feels bad when i find out that I'm again walking 10 feet away from a bunch of peers if that chance come to happen. Arrived at the busy market within 10 minutes and found that comfy spot on a plastic chair outside a coffee shop. Just love the "early feeling" and the fact that so much early birds are chirping under street lamps in darkness dawn! wow! haha.

The day gets brighter as i sipped deeper into my coffee cup. Everything here's just so familiar, from the aunties selling veges to the shopper-by's that just might know my name. haha. Wonder how will i build all these familiarity once again when i settle in a new area.

The sight of aunties chit-chatting their heads away just add into the Saturday feeling. Wonder what do they worry about at all? I bet it'll be nothing like mine-"when will i get a job?", "what da*n course should i study??"... I use to admire my baby sitter's cats, seeing them drowsing each day without the need to worry or even think bout finding food. Guess aunties are the same too. They get out of bed earlier than anyone, gets the best oxygen of the day, wiggle their asses to the market and start bombarding topics on which house dropped durians or who's son went to Australia for studies... They might just worry bout stuff like "what to cook for lunch?" or "how much money did they spend today"... ok where am i heading..haha.

Actually, everyday's a Saturday for me right now. Clue-less of what to do; have options on whether to get up before the sun or let it sign my buttocks; whether to go to school kepo or just find some friends out for play; whether to read a book or watch pirated dvds... I know days like these ain't so meaningful but its definitely saying goodbye in a few months time. And there will i be back into the rat race of rushing forward like there's no ending. So, for the meantime, i think I'll just let go and enjoy life itself. The monotonous life like everyday's a Saturday :) The life of a market aunty :)

I HAVE NOT GONE TO THE SPRING YET!!!!! @__@

Class started...so early..i had a hard time sleeping at 11pm and waking up at 7.15..not get used..boohooo..TT_TT
Class started!! I took 4 subjects for A-levels ; Biology, Chemistry, Physics(next thurs start), and Maths. (Malaysian studies AKA the shittiest subject ever : SEJARAH, and pendidikan Moral ; BS! This two compulsory and if i don't get C6 and above for BM, i will have to study BM)

- For now, maths is the easiest subject! Serious!! Ok ok, maybe cause it's very similar to SPM(only the beginning of the term ma..), but ok la.
- Chemistry..not bad..hehe..Mdm Wong with her engrish..she's funny sometimes..i like her.. (:
- Biology..=.=..THE MOST DIFFICULT SUBJECT! Just the first week, i learnt so many new terms man..so hard to memorize..(glyceraldehyde,ketone,amylose,amylopectin,glycosidic bonds, what alpha, beta glucose, all these terms describe monosaccharides..=.= just that tiny part)

- Malaysian studies, I hate this sub but the teacher is so FUNNY!! Fun class indeed, but i still hate sejarah. :p Today as in 2-5 pm (sounds like PBK class) , we talked about budaya, shit, so funny!! Teacher always compare sarawak and semenanjung (teacher's from semenanjung), she's like so SHOCKEDDDD to see chinese and malays get along well. Ok, so now i get why anonna unni studies in a private school, supposedly according to her mum, only those who wants to take chinese go to private school. (whr got, i DID study mandarin in BL le..) So teacher talked about the reason why the chinese girls back in the ancient china days had to tie their feet so that it looks small, it's not because it looks pretty, it has another reason. Um, she said back in the days, girls were like slaves ; girls serve family in the day, serve husband at night(u get what i mean la :p). Guys have weird philosophies (back in those days). If girls tie their feet, they couldn't really walk, they have to take small (PAIN!!!) steps, by doing so, they "work" the muscles at their asses, so their asses are more____..so that's like..better for sex. So MEAN!! I've seen pics of ladies who tie their feet, their feet looked....NASTTTTYYYYYY.. Then from budaya ,we talked about superstitions, I find the chinese ones most ridiculous.. :p

One thing, not looking forward to physics class unless teacher is funny. I don't like physics, the only reason i take this subject is to get another A so that I am "more" qualified to get into a good uni. XD

About the people at SEDAYA, they're so FRIENDLYYYY, scares me at first at how friendly they are. Seriously, everyone there is like a big FAMILY. Every single morning, i think I get greeted with smiles and "good mornings" from the staff including the principal. The teachers..not bitchy at all..so nice..so WEIRD. The staff, everyone,so NICE!! and, you kee and sarah (teng) is in my class!! puahaha! Oh, sarah drives me home, yay, so sweet of her but she so kesian, she needs to pay for the saman-s she get. Why cant those ppl take a break..-.- My classmates..they're all good and friendly..but..all smart asses..I feel so intimated, therefore, I become very kiasu and i pay FULL attention at class. Hehe, classes aren't boring at all, didn't make me feel sleepy anyways, very nice. Honestly, first time I really enjoyed "school" :p

best thing about being in college, NO STUPID DISCIPLINARY RULES!! Girls can wear whatever they want as long as they don't dress skimpy or look like sluts. XD TOILETS ARE SUPER CLEAN!! That's a ++++++++++++++++++ for me. :D Lemme see, From Monday to Thursday, my normal schedule is like this, 8.30 - 10.00am ,10.00am-11.30am (Break), 1.00pm-2.30pm. Nice right? During the break, leatrice,mei fun and I..explore the cafe around the area..hehe..but we usually end up in the library reading TIMES or Readers' Digest or National Geographic. Next week,we'll be using the internet, yay! Free internet access at all times!! That's FRIGGIN AWESOME for an internet addict like me. :p

The downside to everything is..
$$ EXPENSES.
Ok la, not much to complain since I got scholarship but that means I need to help around, still ok la, since ppl thr are friendly, I'll be nice too. :p

BUT, books, since they're shipped from UK, (I study A levels, everything including exams excluding teachers and college is from UK) , they cost so MUCH!! The first day of orientation, we were given this booklist, like textbooks and reference books we need to buy. I was like so excited..until i saw the price. =_______=

1 book cost around RM 100+, ONE BOOK ONLY OH!! U know for Biology, for 3 terms i use 4 books, chemistry, 6 books, Maths, 6 books and Physics (forgets how many but more than 3!) U do the math, all the books I need will cost around Rm3000+!!!!! WAAAAAA!!! Wanna die, 3000...i can buy so many CDs, buy presents for yang & friends & family, can buy access to DBSK (I'm so ridiculously jealous of hanee who spoke and hugged all 5 of DBSK in person but she used a lot of $ to see them, lucky hanee!! )

LUCKILY in Malaysia, words like "COPYRIGHTS RESERVED" are like bullshit to us. (: puahaha, but my dad bought some textbooks and reference books for me online. nvm.

Okay, that's enough. XD I'm thinking of signing up for livejournal so that i can comment on LJs properly and not anonymously and suxin unni is nagging me.. Gah, I miss those lil chats with suxin aka gorilla. :p She's going to live in Korea for a few months soon I think to practise her fob korean, keke, such a yoochun lover.

Kuching's New Toilets

I've been cramming my legs walking around shopping malls in KL until the doctor diagnosed me with "SMP" that is usually wide-spread among males. Shopping-Mall Phobia. Those days were horrible. The thought of "shopping" makes me shake, i wonder how many kilometers does a shophalic can walk, 20km a day? wosh....

Anyway toilets are really hot selling cakes round in Kuching. Boulevard meets their customers somewhere in December and i heard the car lined till 3rd mile. wait to make things clear, Boulevard has its on multi-storey car park and its in 4 1/2 mile. Imagine that?? i cant :p But when i went there it was really crammed. The supermarket was what people claimed to be SO BIG!!! - . -" is it? normal to me. I kinda doubt the architectures as they path for walking was so small its hard to move around without getting your butts caressed by strangers :p

My first time seeing a supermarket being so sardinnish. New toilets do have remarkable attractions i guess.













Ok, that was ground floor. Went up the escalator... is it too much to say that, disappointment met my eyes? It was a shock to see the size of it. Would have been the same size as the Everice 50m away just that it has more floors. I don't think its a potential leg tiring complex so in a way, its still good, can help me cure my SMP.haha


The spring was nice. Its opening TODAY!!! haha, everyone in KUching! Hear Hear! Rush there and jam the whole place :P Law brought me and brothers in his crazy van to the spring. Was a mouth-falling scene cause it kinda look nice. haha. Too bad they don't allow us to masuk. I guess it was too late ( it was 9 ). So we took a walk around the place, definitely bigger than boulevard. I bet thousands of mouths just can't help but compare these two toilets. We tried sneaking in through the side door that opens to a long corridor but walked till the end and found out it was locked.- . - people were staring at us when we came back out. i shouted "can go in one! go go!". Too bad they didnt fall for it. haha.

太漫长的闲日让我连今天星期几也不知道了.不好听的说是没目的的过生活, 好听的说呢, 就是毫无压力的享受...应该是假期吧.对吗?

哇好久没type华语了.是这样吗?好像很辛苦耶.哈哈

偶然的, 我听到了<<晴天>>. 这首歌, 我太熟悉了, 曾经是我每天必听的歌, 爱不失'耳', 也是我学吉它的第一首旋律, 更是弹的最不逊色的曲子了. 担可惜, 我从来都没有很仔细的去品尝与了解此歌真正所带来的含义.就这样, 我错失了如此美妙的歌词, 没能完全领悟它...的好. 也就这样, 等到下一年的十一月,周先生又发专辑时, 我也理所当然的开时学弹下几首的晴天了.

担，这完全不代表我已遗忘了最初让我感动, 让我四处拜师学弹的<<晴天>>. 每每拿起吉它, 不管弹的是什么怪曲子, 也就算弹的多难停, 就一定一定会有那百听不厌的<<晴天>>, 哪太让我熟悉的开端曲, 来安慰自己其实没天分的事实.哈哈...

人也许永远也不能改变"失去了才懂得珍惜"的大道理. 我也不是谈道理的高人, 只知道, 我虽然没有纸上衡飞的大说自己能把<<晴天>>弹的多好, 担起码我还是很珍惜它的存在, 它永不退潮的单纯抒情, 它所带来的种种回忆...

I spend the in between hours of both years at this wall-like apartment.

Anyway, during 31st dec 2007, we passed by sungai wang and saw crowds gathering. Let me see, Gary was going, Che Tian was going, Anthony Zhen Wei Kang was going....and a whole bunch of RELAs were there too! For some reason it wasn't persuasive enough to make me sweat and squeezed to see them live.But they are good definitely :p

Watch a hong kong drama " The Ultimate Crime Fighter " (very nice!!) till 11.45 that night. Than me and my brothers went down to 4th floor to get some drinks than go to the top floor of the other block facing KL city. Smart ho? haha. Here's the view.

OK, i've got to admit my phone's 2.o mega pixels aren't that good ( For the first time ) cause the scenery looked way breathe taking than that. Lol :p ok i was exaggerating, but it really was a nice view of KL :p

My first starbucks. love the pic! XD Do we call it starbuck or starbuckS? My bro emphasis the 's' which brought me to this matter. Anyway, its really expensive coffee and i don't think its really worth it. 3 drinks for 40 something. Thats not the life man, thats thrifty.

a food trip won't be complete without Sushi!!!!!
All of them half price! after 8 at Lot 10. Worth it worth it.haha.
