WTF$?

Just like any societies in school, everyone has a time of their year where they HAAAVVEE to do some fund raising sorta thing.

In my mind, raising funds was always about doing something very vital and maybe even, nobel like raising funds for tsunami victims or raising funds for a major project. That's what makes the public willing to aid in funds. Funds ma!

But apparently, fund raising can be as important as above, or just for.. i dunno, fun?

"Hey, what are you guys raising FUNDS for?"
"For our society."
"So is it like, you guys are going to go to some orphanage or hold some event that sorta thing?"
" ... no?"
"Then what are you raising FUNDS for?"
"i don't know, the society la.. for.." (the convo ends here)

guess its me and my "wrong" impression with the word "funds".

ANyways, the Student Welfare Committee will be holding their fundraising week soon and things are on the run. Guess since its the STUDENT WELFARE COMMITTEE who's raising funds (like,whatever), it shall be as official and huge and different and bombastic than other small small kecik kecik fund-raisers.=.= We actually start meetings over this a month ago =.= -kua zang

The STUDENT WELFARE COMMITTEE split its members into 2 groups to "promote healthy competition" in order to "be more uhm about the project". So, we came out with our own team names.

Before this seniors told us bout their previous names which went like, -fundseekers and fun-raser or something. Guess they thought it was cool XD

Since so, we got ourselves something similar, yet a lot funkier. The name goes with -

What The Fund$ ?

And so, the other team named themselves -deliXious.com

Fund raising discussions among WTF$ was always fun because the energy was there, the uhm was there, the funk and the cool was there. Being extremely contradicting with SWC's formal and official impression (with their black formal attire and silver tie all that ) we chose to be toy with wild ideas and out of the box concepts. Thats what makes college college, why jump willingly into the pool of rules and heavy regulations where creativity is highly restricted rightt.

Ok enough of sarcasm, if you even get it that is. Here's the flyers we're distributing. Not exactly a innovative flyer but hey, its still better than other uncatchy flyers which live not above a quarter of a minute on the hands of the reader :)

School Commences With Some Flare!

First few days of college should be mild and relax while everyone's still warming up for the new semester, things should be slow and steady.

BUT! It ain't the case for me i guess. Schedules are packed right till the end of this month! And the days so far are fully occupied till the day gets dark. Well despite the trouble, its still fun and exciting :) Getting stuck in an aircond room doing art stuff is still, VeRY appealing for an accounting student =-=

First week : Preparation for SWC notice board and fund raising designs.

Second week : Going into random lecture hallS being as stupid or funny as possible so that people actually give a dam*

end of second week : Penang trip for two days!! =D

Thrid week : Fund Raising Week! (hope by then i'm still able to breathe)

end of thrid week : Johor Bahru here i go!!! XD

fourth week : Preparation for next project-SBS night??

Woa! sorry mum and dad, things are way beyond my control now. hehe.

Students from TAR college crave for less activities and event so that there is more study time at home :s"

Bye-Bye Kuching

tI like blogging bout my farms in. ok its my dad's. (people call them orchards but i find the word "farm" cooler XD)

Just so you know, Kuching ain't a small town with farms and forest all over ok? Was kinda put back when someone complain to me whether Kuching was like Dusun Eco because she didn't like the place. Ouch man, whats with some KL ppl!

If you have to know ( ;D) farms are considered luxuries, because!

1. it is a valuable asset
2. its the owner's exclusive resort (haha)
3. its my private photography area (HEHE)

Dad has quite a number of farms so they may scatter all over the place. Some are reachable between 30 minutes of drive, some may need ferries to catter.


I just wanted to shoot the window but so coincidentally the other ferry drift into view! XD

Surprisingly, this is a still pic, not a gif and the dots are not supposed to be moving.

Mine's moving slowly. But if you stare at it (like really really stare, FOCUS), it will not move at all..

It's supposedly a test for the criminals because once you get nervous, it's hard to focus and you'll be seeing the blue dots moving at high speed.

Milk Mania

There's been a milk disaster going around all parts of the world. Milk was found containing contagious melamine which had cause health problem's to more than millions. Reports of babies dying due to kidney stone induce by the contaminants are significantly increasing as well.


More and more products containing milk substance are being pulled off the shelf including one of many's favorite- the Rabbit Milk Candy



Of course, milk powder, which primarily causes the realization of the health hazard are being banned one by one. Babies in China are facing serious shortage of milk as more and more milk brands are going down the shelf

Besides these, other products containing diary substance like chocolates, sweets, biscuits, ice-cream, yogurt, cheese, teh, kopi/coffee, milo, starbucks, coffee bean etc.. are all in high risk of contamination of melamine.

So far i am still unaware of any products officially banned by Malaysia to save its fellow citizens from kidney stone and death subsequently. So, just watch out i guess.

With ever fatal economic crisis spreading from the West and the infectious health problem blowing from the East, while at the same time both poles on the North and South are melting intensively,

i really wonder what else can the world and the people in it anticipate...

did you know what freaking happened??

Two dogs (I think it's a pair) came after me. You know, I'm a dog lover but I've been traumatized once because a dog chased me when I was 9 and I screamed like shit and ran the fastest i ever had to my house.

A black one and a brown one.

The brown one..horny so playful!! It totally PRANCED on me. O_O And bit me (i now know the importance of jeans) all over my legs. I was freaked out and screamed like crazy "AHHHHHHHHHHH" Yeah, and now...I have sorethroat.

It went on for like..10 minutes?? Sorry, I don't like playing with stray dogs. especially ones clinging to my legs and almost reaching my bewbs. The black dog was like barking like crazy (maybe she's jealous ROFLMAO)

Luckily my kind neighbour saw it and let me stay at his house for a while.

And then..

JUST NOW A LIZARD SWEPT PAST MY FEET.

OMG

OMG

EW.

I hate lizards. I have the lizard-fall-from-ceiling phobia.

Actually, I hate all insects. I have no sympathy towards those nasty creature. I see, I kill. If I'm in a good mood/afraid to kill, I'll spare their pitiful lives. Damn, I'm unethical. :p

Why are cockroaches and spiders so hard to kill? My sis use the whole can of Ridseck (how to spell?) on a cockroach and it didn't even die. ugh. I used a huge dictionary to squash the evil itsy witsy spider and it didn't die. Um, unfair much? They don't deserve to have so many lives.

O ya, I said I wanted to say how God always has better plans for us?

Once upon a time, there's this tall girl (tall because of genes, NOT MILK AND NOT BECAUSE I EAT TOO MUCH) call Yien Yien who really likes this korean boyband heartthrob called DBSK (and i seriously like them for their songs, not just their faces plz, but i'm not much of a fanatic as it seems to some people =_= ) So she wanted to go to this DBSK concert at Msia. So she pray to God every single night without fail that she wants DBSK to attend this concert and that it won't clash with her SPM. Lo behold, it did clash and it made Yien Yien super upset but she was like, "since it's not what God wants, fine lo, maybe some other time." Fortunately, she realized that she gets to go to the Bangkok concert because 1. mum allows 2. parents do business at the same times there. So she was HAPPY and she booked the tickets RIGHT before the deadline. Coincidentally, that very day of the concert was her ex fav DBSK member Kim Jun Su's (whoa so long woi) birthday. So she was THRILLED and that was one of her best experiences in life. After knowing that the msia concert wasn't as good as the thai concert, she felt even better.

And that's just round 1.

Round 2 is even more interesting.

365 days later, there was going to be a SM Town concert at Bangkok (not only DBSK will be there, SNSD [her current fav group], SUJU [fruity gay boys but quite funny], ...etc will be there) So once again, Yien Yien wants to go. However, parents not supportive of it and strongly expressed their dislike about the idea. She was sad but she prayed to God ..again about the concert thing. Days pass by, it seems like the idea of attending the Bangkok concert was vanishing. She didn't care about it anymore and even stopped praying about it but she always say her thanks prayers. Was supposed to go to Bali but got cancelled. Was supposed to go to Shanghai, but got cancelled. Family starting to doubt this vacation thingy cause it seems like there's a lot of obstacles. Then, dad brought up this "How about Bangkok again?" (this family loves Bangkok) YY (i feel weird typing my name all the time) and her sis's eyes immediately lit up. "CAN WE GO TO THE SM CONCERT?"

I've not booked the tickets yet but surprisingly there's still some left!! :D

Gonna buy 'em tomorrow.

Me : " It's in London. And Oxford is a town itself. (meanwhile, sis gives me the julia roberts smile, yea yea she has a big mouth)"

Me : "VERY EXPENSIVE OKAY!!"
Mum : "Is it....get scholarship la!"

But it's just a dream. :( Imagine, if i study in Oxford.. :D :D I get to wear those adorable Oxford heels, those cute dresses Blair Waldorf wore on Gossip Girl, Burberry designer bags (i have a plaids fetish)...wait..i'm not rich enough.

And then recently, my friend went to London, and she went to Oxford, omg, I'm so jealous, the place is BEAUTIFULLLL.

Anyways, US is out of question cause my parents thinks it's not safe at all and it's too far for them to visit. nvm, because we still have..

Hair issue

For all that had an issue with my hair, i'm here to settle it once and for all! XD

Why is it that so many people complain bout it? look like girl la, look like beggar la, look dirty la, look messy la bla bla bla. Don't care la!

After a trip to port dickson months ago, i went to another trip to pahang on the 22nd september. the night before i was watching hot shot till 3 in the morning before starting to pack my stuff. Hostel then was spooky as its almost empty. and i was washing and hanging laundry at 3am XD

As maroon 5 woke me up with "Sunday Morning", i packed up and went to school. The bus left at 10 something and everyone was so energatic. surprised O-O
