The Prestige

...is AMAZING.

I know old movie, 2006 1 (when I didn't realize that Christian Bale is hot. :P)

Sucks for me that I've watched the ending before. T_T

But it's one of the best movies I've seen. Really. Watch it (if u get confused, watch it the 2nd time. :D)

The trailer. The trailer is NOTHING like the movie because the movie is too damn good.

I really hate it when outsiders come to my house and disturb my weekly clean-house-routine. I don't like to be seen cleaning up. =____= (ironically, no one believes I do house chores. )

SUCKS.

--------------

shit. almost forgot.

IT'S YUN YUN'S BIRTHDAY TODAYYYYYY!!!!

she's probably watching some movie right now. haha. XD

The other day me, her and mum went to pick some "jewelry" for her. The look on her face was funny..cause the jewelry is EXPENSIVE. Plus, yun only probably likes Tiffany & Co (any girl who doesn't like this is WEIRD) So in the end she got the bag she wanted. Haha.

Yun is very manja, sometimes likes to act cute, LOVES TO SLEEP, can live a day w/o water and food, very sensitive, hates bugs (like me), likes sports, loves pink,....

It's so...youngsisteresque right?? Haha, oh yes, she's pretty. :D and photogenic (the complete opposite of me)

don't feel like posting her pic. boo hoo. :p

Orientation Odyssey Night

It was nearly a month ago when OO night "King" and "Queen" were crowned, meaning to say this post have been a month late. But hey, its never dull to skim through history again.

The night were 12 contestants/finalist of first years that are so called the most outstanding in terms of appearance and talents,(hmm) who have underwent a beauty pageant style of competition, going through training and shopping,(lol) showing off their "talents" and "thinking skills" and finally, get crowned >-<

The **FINALIST**

The 12 were chosen out of all the first years that actually went to audition. The winner, gets a modelling contract and a benchmark "into the entertainment world" (^lol^)

My point here isn't to talk bout how great the contestant was OR WASN'T, but to fill in the experience i had through being a stage crew =)

It was a fine day when a hostel friend didn't feel well. She asked whether i wanted to lend her a favour by filling up her post in OO night. No problemo, just accepted and there, i was in the crew. haha.

The stage of our college hall before we lay our hands on it

The initial idea of building balls -.-'' Piles and piles of newspaper everywhere and we tried wrapping boxes with them.. didn't work out. Tried making frames with wire, wood, polysterene... In the end it was abandoned. Well no worries, more ideas to use on.

The curves! One of the succesful structures that actually worked :P By then a whole bunch of new helpers swam in so work caught up in pace.

Remember the lights? haha. Controversial concept but in the end the light were still covered. Unappreciated beauty.

Now you get what i mean? this mythical beauty was faced to the wall while the covered part face the audience. Sad..sob sob.

Work work work, tiring but it was real raw fun. I like this snapshot. Btw those aren't couples.

Things started to get in place
The curves were up, the lights were hang, so were the golden coloured cloth. It may look as simple as playing the sims or decorating a barby doll's house but honestly, it wasn't an easy job at all. We work for 2 weeks and days mostly ends in midnights.

The finalist doing their practice while we continue our job. We may seem like the lucky ones because we get to see the school "idols" in person, but the euphoria fades real fast and before you know it, you start realising the finalist were just a small part of making the night a success.

The Results :

The Curve! XDD

The finished stage! Filled with the enchantment of granity enlighten by the must precise intensity of interior lighting.

We had a authentic fountain as well. Nice ae? it weights like crazy.

I was wondering all this while, what was the first impression of the audience when the stage curtains rolled out and the enchanting stage glitters before their eyes. My wild guess would be,
WOAA

The night itself,
we the stage crew were the only ones in the hall that has the privilage to be untied by dress-code. haha. (Nothing to be proud of actually.)

Besides being responsible of props, we had our time watching the show for the hundred time >o<

Picture taken while i was hiding behind the external stage (to pop the party ribbons) which was assembled for their catwalking.
Ops ops, upskirt? XD that's my Head of Department in SWC, i would deny even if i saw anything XDD

Being the shadow of someone else's lights,
Being spare the pieces of glimmer after the performer,
One day, i shall have my very own crowd and attention,
And shadows shall be of the past while lights prove me worthy.

okok i was a lil carried away, back to oo XD

I was being skeptical at first as we weren't given any credits for all the hard work we put in as we were just crews, not committee members. However having enduring the long hours, the pain and sweat, and seeing the works fixing into pieces and forming that majestic picture we never expected to see, everything was worth it :)

Besides the unexpected accomplishment we felt, they were some unpredicted happenings as well that had a funny ending.

When the crowns were crowned and people gather on the stage crying hugging and taking pictures, i went to get a fruit tree mango drink to give a quench reward for the tiring day. As i walk back on stage, a few were looking at a fallen spotlight on the stage and smoke were coming out. O ou, it was obviously burned. A man kick the burned spotlight and we found out that the spotlight not only burned itself, it burned the stage right through it! The fire was still going on!

While the guys ran chanting "Air! Air", i automatically poured the mango juice over the burning hole. SSsssssssssssssssssshhh....

Now wouldn't that be a good advertising idea for fruit tree?

Fruit Tree Drinks, Refreshing your Burning Hole

ok that sounds wrong. haha.but its still a good idea!

Lastly, the stage designers doing their last job for the event, decorating the Stage Director's car XD

Nice right? haha
Happy OO night everybody :)

It's THAT good.

Blogging has been so widely utilised that really, everyone is blogging.

There are approximately 57million blogs from all around the world and obviously, the number is increasing daily.

KennySia blogs..Pinkpau blogs :) teenagers blog.. parent blogs.. politician blogs.. celebrities blog.. Now even Malaysian Airlines blogs too =.=

Symptoms of bloggericity..
-seeing some guy taking photos non-stop on his food which the waitress pass to her 15minutes ago..
-social norm of assuming photograhers are bloggers
-having kennysia as a pick-up line ( for kuching ppl over here :p)
-parents keeping on track with their children through web blogs (ops)

To be precise, blogs can come from any walks of life. Even old old people-
93 year old Don Crowdis of Ontario Canada.
95 year old Maria Amelia, and..
1o7 centuranian Olive Riley.

a 107 YEARS OLD blogger for God's Sake!

okok, take some time to digest that

and be ready for the next cute thing!

Kitty's cute sweet sister :)

Did you even know how to type back then? haha.

Angel, you made Kuching proud =D

Why so SERIOUS??

warning : pictures might be disturbing.

I watched The Dark Knight last night. AMAZINGLY BRILLIANT! I won't say it exceeded my expectations but it was definitely on par. I was expecting it to be good cause Batman Begins was already a very good movie (it's very =_= sometimes cause most ppl I know didn't watch batman begins and I want to spazz about the movie cause it's very GOOD!!)

Heath Ledger did a phenomenal job with his role as the JOKER. Being the psychotic sadist, he portrayed his character really really well. The Pencil magic trick is just ....PWNAGE! I was so blown away with his "magic". I actually really adored the joker, he's actually quite funny. :p I have this clown-phobia (as in very scared of clown images especially when they smile) but after this movie, I wasn't that afraid. :D

The guy who played Two-Face/Harvey Dent did a really good job too. From how he became the "hero" of Gotham, to a two-face villian. (he looks more horrifying than the Joker, imo) But I hated his character from start. Don't ask me why.

Rachel..rachel. I'm so HAPPY Katie Holmes isn't playing rachel. Maggie did a good job too but...(spoiler : don't read if you haven't watched the movie) SHE DIED..T_________T I WAS LIKE WTF WTF THE JOKER SWITCHED THE ADDRESSES AND OBVIOUSLY GORDON AND HIS TEAM WERE TOO SLOW TO SAVE HER. T____T and thanks to her death, Two-Face was "revealed". Damn that Joker.

Bruce Wayne oh Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale). From the first movie, he was ALREADY so hawt. So sexy, the second one, still sexy. He's so suave and very CHARMING! PLUS HIS VOICE AND BATMAN VOICE IS SO SEXY. I must admit this, I have this attraction to sexy voices. Don't give me the O_O look. Sometimes my sis wonder why I watch some of those cooking shows, I tell you why, CAUSE I WAS SO DAMN ATTRACTED TO THE VOICE. phew. His acting is good like always. Oh, and I really like Christian Bale. I watch Empire of the Sun leh. (oh most of you probably don't know about this movie, very old, Steven Spielberg movie :D He was only...11?? very young but acted really well). Then he acted in The Prestige. SHIT. I watched the ending nia, I must watch everything, cause it's the type of movie I like and I also like Christian Bale. :D :D

Famous quotes of the Joker :

- Do you know where I got these SCARS?

- why so..SERIOUS??

(shows off his tongue and puts the knife into the victim's mouth)

You know the scars on his mouth reminded me of this :

Elizabeth Short was murdered. Died a horrible death. Her lips were cut to form a smile (SEE, LIKE THE JOKER!) Her body was cut into half (actually wanted to put the "cut" body up here but I scared...that I'm scared. :p) and the murderer drained her blood.

the infamous (unsolved) Black Dahlia mystery. Aiya, if you want to know the details, google is your best friend. :D

Oh yea, most people never watch the Black Dahlia too. =__= So sad, I can never spazz about the movie with other people. It's not that boring leh, so interesting, I like the fact that the way the movie was portrayed the 30's- way (like the movies back then where scenes shifted like "pages") And got damn hot actress, Scarlet Johansson. (and Demi Moore, if you think she's hot, and she played Elizabeth Short's character). and that guy from Pearl Habour..forgot the name but he's quite hot too.

Okay, back to Batman. I totally LOVE how Batman isn't just any superhero. He's the DARK KNIGHT. When he is needed, people praise him, when he isn't needed, he is hunted and has to run away. I tell you, this movie is brilliant because it really plays with our "feelings". I can't wait for the next Batman movie!! Definitely my fav superhero movie! :D The next villain.. would it be Two-face SPOILER : (but I'm so confused, I thought he supposedly died?! they even had a memorial for him.) Or would it be the Penguin??

Heath Ledger should win an Oscar.

and I'm addicted to Gossip Girl. Please give me an anti-obsession pill.

u go girl!

Remember Hyori (the girl who never ages). My girl crush. :D :D

The MV for u-go-girl is HILARIOUS! and i'm in love with the short green overalls. SUPER CUTE!

and...SNSD is advertising Nexon. What is nexon? If you play Audition/Kart Rider/ Maple Story then you'll know what company that is. My question, does Nexon even need advertising?!! I can SOOOO REMEMBER the maple story hype. =__=

SNSD dressed up as sailors and being maple girls (wut?! Maple girls?!) It's so corny and bleh but they look good.

Does this mean I have to install maple story and play that game?? No wait, my lil bro already installed that game.

Yang said I only update when he updates. Not so true leh. HMPH. Coincidentally, this week class starts and I'm not used to it. Very tiring. Sheesh, hope I can get over with A levels FASTER!!!! I hate studying for now, I'm not eating very well (don't know why), at least can lose weight. :p During class, all I want to do is SLEEP. SLEEP. SLEEP. Of course nolah, I actually paid attention because I'm stingy and I don't want to waste my parents' money. I should have skipped more class when I was at SMK BL since it's for free. SIGH.

I want to dye my hair.

Lazy to blog. No mood. Blah.

ACCA Student Conference 2008 at...

Port Dickson~
this post is dedicated to my loving dad who finally decides to quit smoking :)

Its not exactly a holiday get-away but with all that has been said and done and seen and felt, its pretty much like it.
To clear my doubts on studying accounting(or switching :), i signed up for the ACCA student conference trip directly after being told. Mostly because they're going to the beach XD
Is accounting really a boring job?

Saturday. 12th July 2008. Breezy.
Gather at school. Everyone look high and energetic.

We're going to PD with TAR's own bus, which judging by the interior and exterior, looks nothing less than other fast-lane bus. It plays Hits.fm too XD

The lil girl which is 18 but looks a decade younger XD My assistant class rep.

We paid RM100 for two days one night and i was half expecting a low budget motel. But hey, acca is sponsoring and TAR does know how to keep their image.
2hours journey brought us to Port Dickson finally. The outcome of my hypothesis, this->

CASA RACHADO

woa?

The last visit to port dickson was months ago. And i didn't see anything like what i was seeing. Is this a lesson on networking? ;D

To cut things short, here's pretty much everything.

The People

~Group 18~

Titleless

Jack the comic charater. Very hilarious person XD

Height :O

Coursemates, Devi, She ann, Ya tou and Korean Boy. Jk

Games/ Team-Building?

The ACCA guy, Mr. Ang Wen How who is not an ACCA himself. Hmm, but no one can deny he's charisma. All compliments to you Mr. Ang. He's 28. haha

Now this is what i call building a team, literally XD

O-O

Here goes the group pictures, ppl that went, its for you.

I see a constipated kennysia, do you? :P

The Room/ Apartment/ Accomodation

I was really blown away when i saw the apartment. WOA! cosy and huge!

From the doorway

Full kitchen with sink and fridge. Two toilets and..,

Two rooms!

Well i slept at the living room where there was another 3 mattress because i was... being nice :P
View from the balcony. yes we have one XD

The Food

The whole two days meal were under buffet basis. And that can really make me a happy boy :P

Sizzling fried chicken with pan fried bull-eye egg served with oriental chinese fried rice... okok that wasn't necessary. haha

Looks good, taste even better.haha. I'm half a liar.

Dessert!

CamWhoring Session

Devi, Tommy, Joan and Me =.=

That's my Acount tutor, thanks to her account doesn't seem so bad as it should be. haha

The Man Himself
I like this photo though im not in it. haha

=.='' Ok

we stayed up till 2 i think. And i spend one hour on the phone with Yien. Finally you call ha best friend?! XD

Second Day

After settling in breakfast, the programme on the schedule was-Jungle Trekking

For the first half an hour i was wondering did anyone mistype "beah trekking" with "jungle trekking"

The beach

Still the beach...

Footprints :)"Oi.. bila nak sampai jungle ni???"

Shuttle speed 1/1600 ; Aperture 8.0 ; ISO 200 XD

Aaaaaarrtttiiisssticcc. Say yes!

Joan, my camera's model for the day :P

Finally,

The Jungle

Macro shoot. i say nice nice la!

Blur picture, but i like it :D

"wa, hutan"
"we've never seen so much grass before! they're so tall!!"

JK :D
Do you see a footprint? the local people says its Hang Tuah's footprint. I'm not sure bout that but if its true, he must have feet the size of Yao Ming.

The climax of the journey, the mountain top where there's a light house. And the place is call Caso Rachado if not mistaken. the view really was mind popping. Reminds me of Westlife's music video XD

A history lesson. This place is the location where Melaka's civilization began. Parameswara was also said to be burried nearby. Portugal and Netherlands invade through this area as well.

Group 18 !
Do you notice something? Its an ACCA student conferene and i haven't mention anything bout it at all. haha.

Here goes, the conference introduce and reintroduce what acca meant. Its here to say that, ACCA isn't a taboo or something so unattainable students should just avoid it if they don't wanna be an accountant. ACCA is a professional body whereby once you obtain the qualification, your pay parachutes with it and so does the employment. There isn't a passing quota and all candidates should do is study and get their marks above 50.

The best thing is, TAR College, of all places (not UM or Sunway or Singapore Uni or anywhere else) is the ONLY institute to provide Internal Assesed Course for ACCA. Meaning to say, you get to skip the professional papers to as much as 9 out of 14 if you're a TAR accounting student. Basically i see no point going to other places for accounting course where you can get cheaper fees, higher status and huge exemptions in a beautiful college like TAR. haha.

Conclusion is, although i'm not really loving the course i'm studying right now, and probably won't be so excited bout it for the next few years as i would for artsy course, i come to a point to tell myself that, the bigger picture lies way above all this small lil tiny problems. Think Bigger, Further. Studying the course itself is just a small part of the whole picture. The best part lies ahead :) All in all, i really believe that God has place me where he wants me to be. Look at the circumstances! really. if it wasn't Him, everything won't be so rewarding, and i won't even understand the conclusion. May all praises be with the Lord :)

Goodnight.
