There are values in life that was passed down from our forefathers, that has created great fruits for what we enjoy today. There are things we stand firmly on, standards and principles which govern and protect the society at large. At the same time, there has always been a small voice in the large crowds which have a different say in things, different ways of seeing things. When these voices springs out to the majority, society usually are in shock or most of the time unsure of appropriate responds. Therefore the minority voices are mostly suppressed and ignored. Although the minority with conflicting views may not always come from a rebellious origin, or they may even be just confused and in need of listeners to understand and help them out. But because the method of treatment towards the "black sheep" have always been looked over or consists of demanding orders such as "change-back-to-normal-or-else", the minority starts to rebel. Using the perspective of being over-written, they voice out their twisted conflicting views with rationality forcing the society to accept them as a means of human-rights respect even if such views may caused demoralization and corruption of values.
Be it from a rebellious motivation, a hurtful upbringing or a protest for an escape of facing their own mess, conflicting view raisers sometimes just need to be listen to. And when people are too norm-oriented that they just cannot accept extreme irregularities in things, they try enforcement of standards causing a deeper hurt in the already unwell souls.
Slowly, compromising comes in. The fact that there is so much "wrongs" and worsening in this world didn't start with what is seen. It started by a simple word called compromising. Corruption of a whole country system started with giving in on obtaining extra benefits through gifts of gratitude. Sexual immorality began humbly through the compromising towards temptation. A slight overlooked attitude of pride brought forth giant egoistic philosophies that are even highly embraced in today's society.
To rationalize things and make things look fair, a whole new standard of "rights" and "wrongs" has to surfaced. The minority may now stand strong on their indifference and be proud of it. While we should always celebrate individualism and uniqueness, they is still a place for what is acceptable and what's not. By far, to differentiate this would be nearly impossible in today's democratic society where everyone gets a say regardless of what motives and where their says are coming from. Religiosity used to has its place in governing such ambiguous lines but today it has been twisted to be seen as only one of the alternatives in moral perspectives.
Truly, there is no way out of this, whether certain actions or behaviors or situations are acceptable or not having said that everything now is justifiable through anything. Lady Gaga has her say on philosophy while Oprah and Tom Cruise each has their own too. What would the next decade be if such compromising continues? Would murder even be justifiable having seen the moral corruption infection in such rate? How would we teach our next generation when everyone protests for a right for almost any behavior?

My soul grieves, seeing friends close to me submitting to the power of compromising. From fighting for one-self to being all self-minded; from the line of having new friends to committing adultery; from being fond for a same gender to accepting their self-makeup destiny of being gay. There is practically almost no lines on a say of rights and wrongs. If it feels good, do it, and do it as much as you like or can.
However I refuse to see hopelessness in such situations. Not until i lose my foundation of where the line is, with the accountability to God. Having a belief of God, God is the only uncompromisable being and would forever be. Be it if you believe in a higher supreme being, He is forever Holy and in authority. The world can sway the way it wishes to but God's standards are unshakable. What is righteous remains righteous, what is a sin remains a sin. I'm glad that there is such clarity in God's Kingdom not so that I could be controlled and be pressured to live each day making sure I don't cross the line, but because I see that there is an incorruptible government, being that hope for what the world should and can be.
I do know given the clarity of what is right or wrong does not help one live accordingly to it, but that even makes more sense of who I believe in. Jesus who knows our weaknesses too well that He came and walked that life of impossibility where there was never compromising and only righteousness. He did that so that we do not have to do that. And with the simple identification of what He has done for us, we now are able to fight the temptations of "compromising", and be holy, because he is holy.(1 Peter 1:16)
The thief comes and steal, kill, and destroy
John 10:10
No thief comes in the house publicly and tells his intention of arrival. He creeps in quietly through the back door, steals away small items that are less noticeable, then he comes in for the bigger ones. And before anyone knows it, the house has been emptied or even set on fire.
I hereby speak not of conformitive demands, but of sincere warning. Do not let the unharmful outlooks of compromising bring you down. Do Not Compromise. Horrible endings start with unharmful, small little wrong-doings, altered viewpoints started with accepting conflicting ideas without holding on firm foundations; sexual relationships started with the justifying of our lustful desires. We have our next generation to be accountable to. Would you like to teach your kids on the benefits of abortion?

If you are not compromising your heart by what you look at, you will bring wholeness, purity and light into your body. But if your eyes compromises your heart, it will bring darkness into your life.
