五月天

Its been quite a while since Mayday 五月天 came to Kuching. For the first time some nice, quality, bands come to this small city. Haha, was really worth going although i have Last Mock Exam aka Last SPM Trial Exam the day after.

At first we were wondering all over Kuching for mayday tickets and i mean,,EVERYWHERE. man. From each celcom booth till newspaper cuttings for exchange at some newspaper office. The results were....nil. The exchangable newspaper cuttings was long finish when we reach their office. Didnt even get into it, a lady went walking out and said " GO AWAY! FINISH LIAO!" no la just kidding :p she did made us leave before saying anything though, in a nice way la haha.

The day before the "concert", we were really planning to snick in the stadium because we can't find any tickets at all! But hey, those classmates that thought they were so good in business that they get a whole bunch of tickets and plan to get rich ( illegally) by selling on RM15 pre ticket! Smart, but not capable at all. Make me wanna laugh so hard i have to roll on the ground while hitting my stomach. Really la, its just so amusing when finally we paid RM2 for a ticket and we bought like 5, and that smarty-pants gave us another stack for free! HAHAHA! Stupid :P

There some friends that didn't went because they don't have tickets. haha! We had so much we dunno where to throw XD They even give 2 tickets when one buys Mayday "Jump" CD outside the stadium. We said we sell back them la. lol.

Caught a glance of a guy with this big dusty dirty handphone "accessory". I find it a lil gay lo, but feel like trying it though. haha.

Squeeze in the MBKS stadium and my impression of the usual basketball competition ground was completely change into a live band concert! wow! lights and huge posters and sound system. Gosh...

Mayday rocks on with 9 songs, each filled with thundering roars of fans and also the mightly speaker.too bad they didn't perform "runaway to the moon"(sounds weird when i translate :p) cause its a duet with a female artist that didn't come but that song is so sweet it sounds like honey to the ears, haha.

i nearly wasted my whole night video caming everything with all sorts of angles and stuff but in the end just to find out that camera's don't have good recorders. The whole recording is just plain shouting while Ah Xing-vocalist, Shi Tou ( Stone )-guitarist, Guan Yew-drumer, Guai Shou- guitarist and MASA-basses jump here and there with mouth open and sweat dispercing with the dispersion of the lighting effect. too bad la. haha.

Exam's finally over, been thinking bout this relax state for so long. haha. Mainly because mis.Partner here can finally BLOG!!!! i dunno whether to feel happy for her "comeback" or be very pissed that she left me alone in this blog for so long. Anyways, she might be finishing her bible exam anytime now and tata! Her virginity is gonna break!!!! i mean virginity in blogging la XP

So, how disturbing is it when i reach home after a terrible experience in the bank with a sms of sad news? haih, nvm, talk bout the bank 1st. I went there to get/buy the pin number for matrikulasi. its hard to understand so just take it as paying a form.

Harsh journey from school to that hectic national bank. Despite the traffic and the 48 degrees weather (jk), i was quite glad to finally reach there. went yesterday at 5 actually and the guard that thought i wanna rob the bank stop me, " LU MAU APA?". Dumb. i look so indecent and barbaric ka?

Anyway, i heard a lot bout the bank from frens, grownups and namewee! :D Wasn't sure how true it was though, bout their lazy service and unprofessional attitude. Jo went yesterday and send a message saying,
"i'm not sure whether its the race culture or the people here only".
HAHA... i'm not racist ok, but the that message really funny :P


So, i was quite a Blur when i went in with liang wie, had to ask here and there till finally know what to do. :"isi borang deposit". ok, went to a counter full with different slots of forms. Hard a really hard time trying to figure out what's written on the dirty, 3/4 scratched notices on yellowish filthy slots.

Give me a break! its a national bank la not a public toilet, why look so low quality as if no one used it for 10 years. In fact alot of ppl was crowding around it probably in the same situation as me la. O, that few alphabets spelled "B,,,(half O gone)..rang De..o..it".

After getting my number, sat at a corner checking out our very own country bank. Don't really have the chance to go here, usually its CIMB or Public bank and so on. Remembered the last time i step into this bank was 5 years ago, 4 la, to take out the money for UPSR. Thank you government!


Suddenly this thing came to my mind, " Liang Wie a, why this bank just seem so bad compare to other banks ho?". He agreed with furious nods. lol. We're doing a lot to beautify the city and all but why is some infrastructure as simple as the bank be so abandon. Image my dear.. what would tourist or just any person think bout how kuno it looks. Cant think of the technologies that the its gonna deal with when simple hygiene and appearance are not fully taken care of yet.

Anyway, my main anger was not the location, its how true what namewee said or sang bout officers here. I went to the lady at counter 10 when it was my turn and she threw my turn-number straight into her convenient paper bin beside her and mumble something like i owe her few thousands. Hey lady, whats that attitude? After 2 times of fierce repetition, i finally knew what she said, " line up at A, this is B". meaning i've been on the wrong category.

Fine, went and press A and waited another 30mins. So when it was my turn, i hop fastly to the counter cause my gastrical instrument are playing a few out of tunes already. What do you know? i waited in front of the counter staring at a new lady for 5 mins before she finally look at me... -.- not expecting for a "selamat petang" whatsoever so i just tell her my purpose for dragging myself there.

bla bla... she asked for 6 bucks with no smile and static facial and typed a few stuff before handling me a paper, resit apparently. and.. thats all, no signs or notice for me that its done or what. And i left without getting any "thank you" or "have a nice day" or...

Namewee, you really am right! Was left with question marks bout the purpose of a smiley batch these people wear..What for?

Wear something like this better la.

"Its getting hot in here" these days...I even sweat like Paul ( as in the raining sorta sweat) during church full with aircon supply! Think the people behind me were too shock to hand me some tissue. haha.

So, instead of introducing grennish snake bile juice or liquied blood drink like kenny, i think a cooling drink for a hot day like these can just be----CINCAO!

Pronouns as Xian Cao in chinese. Meaning would roughly be --"fresh grass"... - . - ok wrong info.

If you have no idea how an original cincao looks like other than the small pieces of black jelly readily served, it looks like this--->

Theres a knife beside there so you know we're suppose to cut it la rite?

Is it such a "wow" to you Yien? haha. I doubt that you ever see cincao besides the can they sell in canteen for RM1.60 o.O?

KOLOMEE on the RISE

Does anyone here has a hands-up towads a liking for kolomee???

Typing the word is already enough to let the steamy fragrant of this local delicacy to arise in my mind. OMG! hungry..

Kolomee is one of Kuching signature food which earns thousands of fans all over the cat city. Its distinct taste and aroma even caught the hearts of west malaysians, singaporeans, indonesians... basically everywhere. I often see people da bao-ing 20 or 30 packs in a go and when someone ask for what, do not be surprised when they say "dabao back to kl lo!".

Whats so special about it? As Kuching-ians i bet you know it as well as i do. The Q-noodles that is so addictive one can't stop trembling them into the mouth. The smell, the noodles, the familiar bowls that almost look the same everywhere and the must-take small plastic served fresh chilies. Ah.... i'm drowling.

Kolomee makes wantan mee look so bad when i take them during alternate kl trips. The significant flexible noodles added with the unique taste of kolomee sause plus the usual sweet char siaw and just a few mix of mince beef and vege. This combination does not only taste wonderous but looks quite colourful don't you think so?

I remember going out with friends and kopitiams for a meal or drink. People often order Duck rice la, Char siew rice la, laksa la... but i stayed on with kolomee. Mainly because its cheaper but it taste really better than other food if you wanna compare.

Besides that, kolomee has been so localise i often use it as a standard against almost every goods below RM10. haha. "Pilot C4 6bucks a? can eat three bowls of kolomee LO" see what i mean :p

Sadly, my main point of this post is about the recent price-rise in kolomee stalls. It was quite a bizzare when the all-town Rm2.00 went up to Rm2.20 few years back. Although its just 20cents, people do notice and mind about it. Thats because its one of the closest "element" in daily-kuching people besides oil price that is. Recently, the price jump up another 30cents to RM2.50 per bowl. Some even take the chance to increase one big step to RM3.00. Comon! thats already a chicken rice price - . -

So, to comfort myself, i'll just take this as a symbol of city modernisation. The more develop your city is, the higher the cost of living. Similarly to find a banana to cost 6 bucks in Japan. (According to lawrance)

Who knows some day one bowl of kolomee can cost you 12bucks?

Feels really glad that this headache subject has just gone out the window. At first i thought that having both papers in a day is gonna kill me but hey, its two loads gone at the same time :D

So, set the alarm at 4 this morning and asked yien to wake me up (double assurance). haha. Was glad to hear a not so manly voice from her cause it really freaks me out when she does. ok i can go on writing few pages bout her so lets just skip that. Anyway didn't think it was the early-morning study that made bio easier today. I loudly declare that it was God!

I bet the moment everyone receive the biology paper bout the experiment design, no jaws were undrop. Even smart Ding went running out to flip his reference book. He denied it anyway. And jo even came to us DURING EXAM and gave that.."undefined" smile bout failing. haha.I'm not left out, i thought " this aint happening is it? God's gonna let me fail??"

Well eventually he didn't i suppose. Great God :p haha. I wrote the experiment with one whole breath which at first i have no idea i could. I mean...mirmosa something and avo...curpesus whatever... i never knew it was in the book :p ( o yea, i was grinning at yien at the while cause its fun to see her scratching her head with a blank brain bout bio!) haha

Glad to exercise my fingers for a while on the keyboard. Can't play piano. I admire how does fingers can "exercise" so well on the piano. Using "exercise" as the verb to brutalise piano playing cause i cant play! haha.. No la, i love seeing ppl play. So beautiful and elegant XD Anyone can fall for a girl playing piano with full expression and those pianist "head shakes" which looks...cool - . - haha.


Anyway a good example would be Amanda, looks dam* beautiful when she plays. Despite the craziness over Jay and the not so pianist fingers. haha.


So since pmr is running on, GOODLUCK PMR-ist! o yea, the canteen was high just because someone drove an RX something to school. Ok, so it was a QAF new Mercedes AND a sports car at the same time by the same family. hmmmm... i don't know what to say :p Really shouldn't gossip so much but was kinda shock to see the owners of the two cars settling among form 3 students having lunch with her daughter i guess. Wa, not bad o. Happy family XD Guess parents do love their children that much that they love their faces too.hahahaha....


Gotta run this short. Tomorrow biology, teng teng. To be honest Pn. Teo really gives me credit. Maybe because i'm more "relation-ful" with her but we're not that close either. Dad's old classmates plus coach's wife. Is that coincidence? Now my biology teacher and previos maths teacher. haha. Just feel very sorry that i screwed my Bio papers this year. Was one of the tops last year but.... i seriously doubt whether its because of teacher's favour on me. Nvm, i'm gonna do pretty well this time i hope. Feels threaten to get lousy marks. HAha.


Gotta say something bout the new classroom we move in while our REAL 5B crazy classroom is being used. I purposely arrange the table in 6 rolls times 7 so that i get to sit at the very corner of the classroom.(corner of the door i mean) nice place really, specially when the stair are just beside you. SO you get to greet everyone good morning, check out any one's ass or just be the first to notice whether your hair is in danger due to the approaching of dear Miss K.O. By the way through this i get to know how people bring themselves. Sounds so kek kiang la me :P


Anyway i came out with a theory - real girls walk gently on their feet whereas harsh girls just have so much potential in making those annoying foot-dragging sound. Its not cool ok, and you look dam* lazy and as if you're trying to lose all your body weight that all is left is heavy bones and body frame and you think its an ice-skating ring ha and you have wheels on your shoes and...... enough off bitching :p exam stressed ma. haha.

Study study study....very tired of it laaa.tho i might be the one who's studied the least(ding). I really want to but theres just so many things blocking me(ding)...Ok,might be a lil annoying but let me just list out the stuff i have in hand and the ones that spontaniously came to me.

1. House athlet management---have to be in school on tuesday,weds and thurs afternoon to meet the "athlets" that are so hard to see! hello, u guys are not superstars and i have no interest in having your autographs. Sometimes i wonder why sacrifice time when people are not commiting at all. Imagine the feeling of-> coming to school with high spirit hoping to see some "espirit de corps" from your fellow housemates but in the end, jst a few show up. People of Barney's Frens!!! Wake up!
   
2. T-shirt---- phew,,thank godness half the job is done. For the last few days slept at 1..well,not me actually la.Elandy!!! has been working on it and suprisingly he didnt sleep for a whole night to finish the design. Maybe i push to hard ? did i? haha. sorry if i did. For the "harsh" comments and pushing and being "un-creative",sorry. Well a hyper side always needs another less hyper side to neutral it up ma.haha. AAANNNywaysss(ryner style), rush on the design, struggle to talk teachers out, running around for orders (really was runnning away from penyelia ptg with phillex and hussien that day! RUNNING!!),calling teacher at night, collecting merely enough money for the shop deposit...ahhhh.Its almost over,fighting!
   
3. Basketball competition---> After the previos post, another match will be on tommorrow. Missed a lot of training with the team due to other reasonable activities(told ya im busy). The thing is my legs are injured once again,tata! it looks like two "luohan"(as in the big head fish).I have difficulties goin down stairs so nxt time u see me do lend a hand pls. But the competition,,how?? The last one i got scolded enough.Make me feel as tho im still as sucky as a rookie.its like being the one left out and the rubbish waste.Hope i can at least play to my standard(does coach know i have a standard anyway? -_-lll ) break a leg! i'll do my best. P.s. = not one man show.
   
4. Studies!!! Ding, sorry i cant kick ur ass this time. I mean time is just so different between us.lol. But really, you are a moving stone or rather a pushing force to me, to many others too i suppose. After so much sleepless nights and still yet activities,my body is so drain out its like---DRY! my eyes are so salty and my black eye is ...rarely noticable.haha.im dark skin ma. i really tried to study but..haih haih. Why roselind don't have to study almost at all and still score so colourfully ha? lol.Give me your brain people of smartness. Ding!!!
   
5. PrS--> to those who dosent know wad prs is->ooopsss, i dunno oso.haha... P..sumthg..rakan sebaya. the project! Its due on this month and we hardly done anything. I'm quite nervous with the P.R. work by calling up people and stuff. shit, have to find info bout the kejuruteraan kayu...better make this short. Anyway, i hope my members can be more considerate,lol.i know i dun have the rigths to ask for it but i'll do my very best with whats left of me...haha!*weak laugh.
   
6. Art--->What is wrong with that teacher? i have printed so many stuff for her and still its not to her satisfactory. Aaaaa!!! seni assignment due on thursday and theres so much to do...dead dead..
   
7. o yea, the spontanious works. Works for the family of course. Not going to say what is it but i spend more than an hour under the hot sun working. Its definitely easy to read the words "under the hot sun" but imagine jst standing under it for half an hour. what more to say work and sweat like its raining. My sweat per work may be more than the total volume excreted by sum for a whole month,ha! Plus plus,it was after taekwando and basketball practice.wow, arnt i amazed at myself? haha
   
8. hmm, think i dun have time for a 9.) and a 10.) and.. i do have that much to elaborate on tho.haha...gotta get back to history form 4. Ammaravati ialah,,,devaraja kepada hatsheput firaun pada 510 tahun kuda sempena kemunculan cuneiform dan mohanho-daro...ahhh
   All in all, i dont have much time at all. Thankfully choir is not aggresively roaring. A week of 24/7 minus activities minus tuition minus sleep,lol. think we shouldnt stress ourselves so much do we? Dont minus time for more work,minus time for more play.haha,thats the only SOS word i can say to make sure i dont go DRY.

Bye Autumn, Hello Winter

A saturday, didnt thought i'll be so free yet wake up so early. stupid.. Mum came back ! but they went out for breakfast without me. haih... says i need the sleep to study and all that. Even have to shorten the time for family lunch or dinner (which is too rare to get the whole family together) for the sake of saving my studying time. Well the point is do i study after all this shortening and saving of time. lol.. Mock's just right down the corner. A.... Hope i'll do better, much more better than Yien. wakaka...

Like the song "Wake me Up when September ends" by Green Day? Well i don't know whats Billie Joe Armstrong's motif of the song but it does means two things to me.

1. Mock exams for tough ( actually still ok la XD ) subjects starts at the beginning of October. So if i still don't "wake up" and stop being distracted by all sorts of entertainments and stupid "study acts" like playing with pencils and rubberbands and phone messages and sound recording.... i'm really killing myself. My kk results are wonderful ( thank you Lord) so all i need now is some brilliant results in my kek kiang ka ceng jio 13 subjects and off i'll fly! i hope. ( the hokkien phrase there means "act like i'm so good and my ass is itchy". hAha, doesn't make sense ae?


2. Secondly, TATA! if anyone ask you whats the date of "September's end" how many would say 31st of September? well if you do then wake up buddy! *bash your head. Sept ends at 30th, and its a birthday of a very good friend that is rich and stingy while chinese but pro-kor-jap. " i have a song for my birthday a"...haolien mer? :p

So, this stingy girl didnt buy me much stuff since she say she has "financial problem" but i'm cool with it. aNyway spend the whole afternoon choosing the perfect present for her. Hope she feels guilty that i treat her so well and she does not. haha.

We even got a parking ticket for the "present buying" journey - . - IShiniSasHi...
